Burt’s Bees 100% Natural Origin Moisturizing Matte Lip Crayon, Hawaiian Smolder - 1 Crayon

With the extreme cold of outside and the dry, artificial heat of inside, my lips needed more TLC than my usual matte lip shades but more color than a chapstick. I am fair-skinned with dark red hair, so going without color leaves me looking very washed out. These lip crayons are the perfect solution, with a thick enough formula to provide some therapeutic moisture and a barrier from the harsh, wintry environment. The color fades evenly and is easy to apply, I don't feel like I need five minutes and a bunch of q-tips to get a clean look. Even better, if lips are already dry, this doesn't settle into lines or create any flakiness, it's buttery and comfortable. I've come back to pick up another color (Redwood Forest) and maybe another!

Nude colors are my favorite, but they're also difficult to color-match (just like red). The Burt's Bees lip crayon in 'Sedona Sands' looks gorgeous, and the neutral tone matches my skin. The texture is very nice and comparable to many prestige brand lipsticks. The colors are mostly neutral and/or warm. This crayon formula seems to slowly soften and moisturize without making your lips feather. The quality you receive for the price you pay on this product is absolutely great. It feels great to have found another staple lip color, especially in a brand that offers natural ingredients. This brand is sold ubiquitously so I don't have to look very far to restock. Prestige quality at drugstore prices.

I love this stuff! It goes on really easily and looks like any matte lipstick, but its a little oilier, so you can still rub your lips together after you have been wearing it for a while, it doesn't dry out. Kind of smudgy, but I like that because it is really easy to fix/re-apply. It feels a lot more like chap stick than lipstick, helps moisturize rather than dries out lips. The color is a little sheer, so a little more subtle than a regular lipstick. Only thing I do not like is that it has a really waxy taste that lasts for a while.

This is my favorite! Love the coverage as I have a spot on my lip, not a serious medical issue, but that is dark and raised. This provide great coverage while moisturizing...unlike many of the stay on all day products that dry your lips. It doesn't stay all day as I drink a lot of water and it will wear but it stays for several hours. I like to add a flattering color of Burts Bees glossy product on top. Haven't used regular lip-stick this year and do not plan to go back to them. Also, this product arrived very quickly and exactly as expected. Had been purchasing in the store but since this color is my favorite and I couldn't find it in the stores, I went straight to Amazon. Will certainly re-order!

I really love lip stains but living in Wisconsin leaves me with chapped lips. It's also pretty windy, so glosses are a bit of a hassle. I was struggling to find a lip crayon/stain that had enough moisture but wasn't over-the-top with color to wear to work. This crayon is perfection. It very moisturizing but also leaves you with a little color. It does need to be applied more frequently than a stain and will show on your coffee cups. Would definitely purchase again!
