My nephew is young so I know he'd want to go trick-or-treating, (for reference, at the time writing this he's about 2 years old) and what better than a Pokémon themed costume. I'm not gonna lie, I was expecting this to not fit at all but I got it in XL (I fit a medium/large) as usually stuff like this is measured for a feminine body. I bought a similar hoodie a year ago for a friend and it was tiny for an XL. It fits snug around the legs and arm cuffs, meaning that I'm not gonna be tripping over the legs any time soon as I'm about 5'6". Be warned, if you're a woman the crotch is designed to be low so it may not be comfortable for you if you don't like having some s p a c e . If you're wearing this to an event or Halloween or something wear undies. The buttons go pretty much all the way down and you don't want your bits possibly exposed.
