I have the brown colour, the dark suede and lighter leather look great, they are so good that I’m going to buy the shorter Belize version for when it warms up. Review: Finally, a replacement for Sidi Discovery Rain boots - Fantastic boots with a reasonable toe box - I can wiggle the piggies. Sizing seems to be spot on, especially compared to some other boots that I tried that seemed overly big. I bought my usual size and they are a snug fit, but not uncomfortable and seem to be conforming as they should. Actually leather rather than “microfiber“, which just seems to be code for “plastic”. No pinching, plenty of adjustment in the buckles (always a worry for us skinny-leg folks) and solid Velcro closure. No rain gaiter, but I will be using over-the-boots pants in crappy weather, so no worries there. I do wish that the soles were replaceable, but these should last 5+ years without issue. I ride strictly on asphalt, and the pegs on my bike are not like likely to tear up the soles. In terms of style, of course it’s personal choice. I don’t much care for the massive white Alpinestars logo on the front, but I can take care of that like I did on my Sidi boots – with a Sharpie.
