Oaks Lighting Table, Fabric, Cream

I bought this shade to replace one on my daughters standard lamp. I had previously purchased a very similar one from John Lewis which cost £35. I had to take that one back as my daughter wasn't prepared to pay so much. I eventually found this one on amazon! which looked very very similar but cost a third of the price. It looks fine during the day time when the lamp is unlit, but in the evening when it is lit the shade becomes very transparent and the seams can be quite clearly seen. I guess for the price we paid it isn't bad, but personally I would have preferred to spend more for a better quality product!

Pleasing ivory/cream colour with a beautiful satin sheen - the oval shape gives an added dimension.

The colour was not as shown on pic so had to return.

Good price fora quality item but packaging poor with some damage to the frame

The metal arms inside the shade are in the middle instead of at the side so when the lamp is on you have a flipping line down the middle of the shade, very bad design fault.

Badly packed and looks cheap. Returned two of them and now have my money back. Both were crushed on arrival and one had some sort of fabric join - very visible when lit.

Cheap and nasty. Came bashed in a scabby box. Wouldn't recommend.
