Adult Autoinflation Device Clinically Effective Treatment for Glue Ear.

This product worked wonders for me and I would 100% recommend. I caught a flight home whilst I was slightly congested and my ears became fully blocked. I had suffered with blocked ears for a week and visited the Doctor Who prescribed me antibiotics however these did not help and I was becoming very restless and anxious in trying to find a way to rectify this I was upset and frustrated as I couldn’t hear a thing and thought this was something I would have to live with. I bought this product as I had nothing else to lose. I was sure it wouldn’t work. However after the first go my ears popped and I was able to hear again I was so relieved anyone who is suffering from middle ear or fluid past the eardrum I would definitely recommend this product. My ears aren’t 100% but they’ve gone from 15% to now 85%. The package tells you to use this product for three weeks which I will continue to do so and will bring it with me when I go on any future travels. Highly recommend.

I have suffered from hearing issues for many years. Having what felt like reduced hearing for at least the last decade. As a kid I had grommets put in my ears which resolved the problem but only whilst they stayed in my ear, within a few years my hearing seemed to be deteriorating again. Over the years I’ve tried multiple times to get to the bottom of my hearing issues with various doctor visits and specialist ENT reviews. The latest specialist suggested I had a blocked inner ear, with fluid in the inner ear and a blocked Eustachian tube which meant the fluid couldn’t drain and my ear had negative pressure. They suggested I buy an “AirPopper” but at £100 I was hesitant. Then I came across this product. I cannot over state how much this has worked. Even after only the first use my hearing had suddenly unblocked and everything seemed SO LOUD. I cannot believe this one little device has fixed years and years of frustration over straining to hear. It was a little difficult when using it for the first time. It felt like I would never be able to inflate the balloon with my nose. But careful, slow, focused blowing through the nostril and it happened! Suddenly I felt the ear unblocking and I could hear. There was no discomfort, it just takes a bit of careful blowing the first time. Since then it has been much easier. I cannot recommend this product enough if you have been diagnosed with a blocked eustachian tube and negative pressure in the inner ear with a build up of fluid.

I've been using the Otovent since Feb 2023 as I suffered from SSNHL in Jan 23, it helps to open up your eustachian tubes and allow fluid in the middle ear to drain again. I have horrible ETD and I'm also on fluticasone furoate(flonase) which is a mild corticosteroid, I'd be in trouble if it wasn't for the Otovent. It's easy to setup, use & clean. The box comes with one nosepiece and 10 Balloons. Much safer than doing the Valsalva maneuver which is good, I know straight away if there fluid in my ears/blockage or inflammation around the tympanic membrane as when first blowing into the balloon it will instantly start to be a very dull pain telling me "STOP" The only downside to this, if any, is the cost. The balloons do last a while though so that helps and in the grand scheme of things £15 isn't expensive compared to most treatments for ENT issues. They used to be £10 so a 50% increase is quite substantial for what is essentially a piece of plastic and balloons. I would be in difficulty without it though so I will continue to use Otovent. *I do wish they would add a pack of 10/20 balloons on their own as I don't need a new nosepiece every time and it's an unnecessary cost

This is ok for trying to clear out your ear canal. I had a blocked ear and got this as the pressure was building up. It did help a little and did ease some pressure but I just had to wait a few weeks for ears to become clear so not a quick fix

I have been having trouble with my hearing on my right side for some time and had tried everything from many inhalers, ear drops, visits to the pharmacy and decongestant tablets and nothing seemed to work. Then I saw this product which was advised on the best 10 cures for blocked inner ear problems. Although it seemed rather expensive for what it is, it was worth every penny. The first time of use my ear popped and I could hear much better and I was surprised that the ear that seemed ok even popped making my hearing much clearer. I have not yet been able to blow the small balloon up but I am not worried about that because each time I use this product my ear with the problem stays clearer for longer. I would suggest continuing the whole time suggested so that should work fantastically, to keep the inner ear clear.

After a month or so of trying decongestant and various maneuvers (valsalva and others) I was about to get a doctors appointment to solve my blocked ears. This worked. It took me about 5 days of using it several times a day before I felt completely better, but I got there. The first time it worked but the blockage came back quickly. After several days it was a little better then by 5 or so, all gone! The relief is so good!!

Does the exact same as popping your ears the good old fashioned way that's free I bought for a middle ear infection which then my middle ear needed popping, used product as required but it did nothing more than If I was roblow through my nose. Waste of money

Have to be honest, did not think this would work but after 2 months of glue ear i was willing to try anything. 3 days later it was gone. Great product, super easy to use.

My daughter's doctor recommended this type of product. It worked great to help relieve her ear issues. I would definitely check with a doctor first. But it was very good priced versus other options.

My husband uses this to help keep his ears clear. He has tube in his ears snd sometimes they clog up. He says blowing into this helps.

If your condition is mild this may work but it did nothing for me. There was actually quite a wait while I waited for this to arrive so while waiting I put a large 2x3cm child's wooden bead in a normal party balloon and this actually worked better. The plastic nose attachment that come with these balloons is virtually no different in effect than a wooden bead kids use to make play necklaces.
