These solid wall-mounted seats raise and lower effortlessly with less than five pounds of pressure and comply with all ADA and ANSI bathroom requirements.The shower seat legs have padded adjustable feet to provide comfort for all sizes.Snug hinges ensure this folding shower seat stays in place in both raised and lowered positions. When correctly installed, this shower seat supports 250 pounds.GBS PADDED SHOWER SEATS with FOLDING LEGS come in a variety of sizes. Rectangle, left hand and right hand models are available. The comfortable padded cushion has 1-1/2" (38mm) high density, high resilience foam inside. Cushions have no external piping. Marine-grade vinyl and high-quality stainless steel are durable and easy to clean.Shower seats are required to sit 17 to 19 inches from finished floor in order to meet ADA code. The seat is installed using two 3-inch heavy-gauge stainless steel flanges which are included.Manufactured from 1" (25mm) diameter, 18 gauge and 1.25" x 1.25" (32mm x 32mm), 16 gauge, type 304 stainless steel tubing with #4 satin finish.Wall mount brackets shall be 12 gauge type 304 stainless steel. Mounting brackets and wall latch are included.All of our ADA shower seats comply with ADAAG 4.26.3 which specifies structural strength of grab bars, tub and shower seats, fasteners and mounting devices.
