MERV 12 lets more air pass than MERV 13, but still filters well. Increased flow can help keep condenser coils cooler. Since this is an odd size for stores in my town, I bought a dozen so when I do forget to change it, there's one on hand. I think the cardboard frame and "bracing" in the 3m products are more sturdy than other brands I've tried.

Well, I did not get.... The fresh new Look, as advertised. just white border. And they were Not individually plastic wrapped .... As I expected. Having bought 2 filter in a box before, that were plastic wrapped individual. So, what to do with the other 5 to keep them clean. Now these are the best filters you can buy ... Just NOT ENOUGH INFO ABOUT THE ITEM !!!

Right size, good fit, good quality. When I change filters, the old one is dirty, so I guess it’s doing the job.

Sturdy construction, seem to allow good airflow. Using them attached to a box fan for cleaning firesmoke out of the house. The filters are getting gray in color in just a few days, so they seem to be doing the job.

This is by far the best air filter ever! This brand honestly makes the best of the best. It fits perfectly and the size is accurate. I purchased the value bundle and it is definitely worth every penny. The fit is so perfect so no noise when your air conditioning is on. I replace mine every 3 months faithfully.

It's alright. The amount of filters it came with was the reason I bought it. I wasn't true worried about the higher level of filters. For the price and amount was better than other places.
