This grooming kit made trimming my dog's coat much easier than I expected. The clippers are surprisingly quiet, which helped keep my dog calm throughout the grooming session. They cut smoothly without pulling hair, and the battery lasted long enough to finish the entire job. The included accessories are a nice bonus. Overall, it's an excellent grooming kit for home use.

This is a great grooming set considering the relatively low price. My dog is on immunosuppressive drugs and can no longer go to the groomer for fear of him catching something. He desperately needed a haircut, but I didn't want to invest too much money on clippers since I didn't know how long I'd have to groom him myself (or if it's even something I'd be able to do). For less than the price of one visit to the groomer, I bought these clippers and a set of scissors. I've never used clippers before, but these were really easy to use. They were pretty quiet and quite comfortable to hold and use from different angles. I love that it's cordless and allows me to groom my dog outside. I was worried the blade would get hot, but it stayed cool the whole time I was using it. I have a 20 lb cockapoo with wavy, fine hair, but there's a lot of it. These clippers worked well on him, although I did need to make a few passes sometimes to get through all the hair. I did have to stop fairly often to pull hair out of the guide comb and brush hair out of the blade, but it wasn't a big deal for me. Sometimes the clippers did get a little stuck going through his fur, but that's because he had a tangle. As long as I combed through his fur well and the blade/comb wasn't clogged with fur, it worked great. I thoroughly clean and oil the clippers every time I'm done using it (I find an old toothbrush works better than the little brush that was included). The included directions didn't give very good instructions on how to do this, but there are a number of videos on You Tube that show you how. The accessories that came with the kit were not too bad. I love the comb. The tips were rounded with no sharp edges and worked great for detangling my dog. The nail clippers felt a bit cheap, but they cut cleanly. The straight scissors was okay. I haven't used the other accessories yet. The negative things about these clipper are: 1) I wish there were other guide combs that would allow me to trim my dog's fur just a little bit shorter (I'm too nervous to use the clippers without the guide comb), 2) The directions that came with the kit are not very clear, and 3) I found the company's website to be a little "iffy". I typed in the website listed on the instructions for registering your warranty - it didn't work, so I googled the company name and eventually found the warranty page. When I went to register my warranty - it said it I would receive an email confirmation, but I didn't (I registered again just to make sure I didn't enter my email address wrong, but still no confirmation was received). Also, when I clicked on their website to see what other products they have, I got an error message saying the page wasn't working (I tried several times on different days from different computers and got the same error message). I just hope if I ever need to contact the company that I'll be able to get through to someone and that this isn't some bogus company. Overall, I think if your dog is small or medium sized and you don't need heavy duty clippers, these are a great buy. I think I did a pretty good job considering I've never groomed a dog before. I'm happy with my purchase.

This is a very nice kit. My pup's hair grows fast. I think it's his super power besides being adorable. The kit has every single thing you need to take care of grooming. I like the convenience of it being cordless. It comes with a very nice set of scissors and a grooming comb along with the sizers for shaving. I am very pleased with the product and the great price. It is also on the more quiet side so it helps my pup to not be so nervous.

HIGHLY RECOMMENDED by previous dog groomer. I groomed dogs for five years and have always used the Oaster brand clippers. Now that I’m not actively grooming but have one dog that needs grooming I decided to spend a little less on my clippers and got this kit. This kit is everything you need! Several blades, several guards, maintenance accessories and more. Extremely light weight and quiet which is great bc it doesn’t scare the dog. Super easy to handle and get in those tough places. Does not over heat and battery life lasts the entire grooming. I have a pit schnauzer mix who has coarse, slightly thick hair and works perfect. If you are trying to shave a dog with very long and very think hair (like a husky, a golden retriever, etc.) I am not sure how these clippers would do bc they are a little smaller and may have a hard time getting through a dense coat like this. But if you have a matted Maltese, these would work. Groomer warning....if your dog is matted, please consult with a groomer bc if matted to the skin and you use the shortest blade, you could cut the dog. Also, please don’t shave a dog like a husky if you don’t have too. Once you do, you will never get the beautiful coat back.

Very quiet and efficient. My dog hates haircuts and this set made him very comfortable , noise was very minimal and it didn’t pull his hair. Very easy to use and had lots of extra goodies to choose from . Love it !

Quiet, but not very powerful. My dog has a lot of hair, and it required many passes with the largest guard. It kept getting clogged, and we had to stop and take guard of to clean it, over and over. Because it was very strong, we ended up pulling his hair a bit, which he was not very happy about. I haven't used the nail clippers yet, but they don't look too well made. If you're dog hates the noise of clippers, their hair isn't too long, and don't have a big budget, these are quiet, work ok, and the price is right. Just be prepared to spend some time to get it done.

it stopped working within 3 months, and the seller says to contact the manufacturer who is unknown to me. If you buy this do not expect any after sales support form the seller. They are simply useless.
