(15721) JF015E, CVT-7, RE0F11A, F1CJB: Filter, External (2010-Up)

Fits a 2013 nissan sentra with cvt tran. I replaced this along with the filter in the pan. Car has 90k and fluid was really bad. There was alot of metal debri attached to the magnets in the pan. Car was already acting up bad. Trans was slipping. This filter change will either make ir better or worse. Make sure you service the transmission often. I will come back and update this if the car starts shifting better. Car drives ok if you drive like a grandma. You cant press the gas pedal firmly cause it starts slipping. Rpms act up if you dont ease on to the gas pedal. I have a 2014 accord with cvt also but i change the fluid every 30k and still runnning like new at 70k. ******UDATE**** 11.2.2021. car started shifting alot better after one week of driving about 300 miles. Car was jumping or slipping really bad. I thought for sure the cvt was done. I will update after a month and see if it gets better. ***update***July.2022. Transmission gave out. Had a rebuild. Make sure you do this filter and fluid often and not wait till almost 100k miles.

So my girlfriend has a 2017 Mitsubishi Mirage G4 1.2l w/ Automatic CVT transmission. Parts are next to impossible to find and when you do find them the prices are insane. The stealership wanted $310 for just the conical CVT filter, cvt o-ring, the transmission filter, transmission filter o-ring, and transmission pan gasket. Not counting trans fluid and the oil change and battery replacement that needed done. For about $75 I bought this CVT filter along with the trans filter and pan gasket. I'll pay $75 over $310 all day. This filter is a perfect match. Vehicle has 105,000 miles on it and it's the first time the transmission has been serviced. Only a couple days installed so far but it already feels like a whole new vehicle! Might buy a whole extra set just to have on hand. Extremely happy with purchase. Hope this helps other Mirage owners.

Filter works well and fit well. I think lots of folks don't know that the Sparks with a CVT7 transmission uses 2 different types of filters and make the mistake to replace just one filter. This little filter worked fine for me.

My cvt was failing in the versa. Changed main filter, this one, and did a full flush and conversion to Castrol fluid. Works great now! The old filter was disgusting, and many forget to change it too. (Every 40k miles). For this one, it's much easier to go in through the driver wheel well. Can remove the tire.. but I just turned it. But make sure you have the cover attached firmly so you don't take a fluid bath haha.

bought this for my wife's 2016 Nissan pathfinder 3.5, it worked great. will be buying another one when its time for another transmission service. the dealer wanted almost 30$ for the same thing

Doesn't fit nv200 2013. It's long and skinny. Nv200 2013 needs short and fat filter for cvt transmission.

2015 Nissan Versa LS. Perfectamente. !

Looks great like orignal got to wait and see what happens.
