3" Metallic Gold Jacquard Ribbon Trim by 2 Yards, SMB-76

I used this as trim on the sleeves and bottom hem of a shirt as part of a medieval costume. It's thick material so hand sewing might be difficult. It was easy to sew with my machine. It frays where cut, so be mindful of that. The design is nice and the quality is good. It worked well for what I needed. It was enough material to go around the bottom of the shirt and both sleeves with just a little left over. I would purchase again.

I ordered this ribbon hoping to use it to repair a torn garment. On the screen, the ribbon looked like a good match to the fabric on the garment, but when the ribbon arrived, it was not close enough in color. In the end, I did not use the ribbon. In fact, I have considered returning the ribbon because I will not use it.There is nothing wrong with the ribbon; it just doesn't work for the project I had in mind.

Very lovely trim that was just what I wanted. In life, the gold color definitely skews towards the cooler yellow end of the gold spectrum rather than the warmer orange/red end of the gold spectrum, so plan accordingly if you're color matching to other gold fabrics/trim!
