My floorboards were in a very bad way because I have had many dogs charging around and so it comes with the territory that there will be scratchmarks and general wear of the wood. I didn't expect a great deal when buying the product as I thought the floors were beyond repair. Sometimes in life, it is great to be proven wrong! It was so simple to use and on the first use my floor looked new. I decided I wanted it even shinier so used the product again .
