They stand in well for fresh European style sour rye bread, but keep indefinitely, good for packing on day or longer backpacks with especially tinned fish, sturdy enough to act like a spoon. Clean simple ingredient list, true sourdough tang, caraway helps with digestion of rich toppings like that fish, or stinky cheeses.
