Once I manually turned it by working a screw driver into the space, it started again, only to randomlystop again. I don't let it overheat. There are no directions for oiling or maintaining it.

Tried to return this item due to uselessness for my purposes. Since I've had it in my possession for over 30 days and only tried it yesterday, unfortunately this expensive little paperweight is now mine forever. Very very unhappy with this purchase. I thought it would make trimming difficult hooves easier. **IT DOES NOT.** This thing is essentially a wood carving set. It's nothing special, and the safety switch is impossible to turn on with one hand, due to the sticky, cheap plastic switch that has been placed under the equally cheap-feeling aluminum paddle. The value for dollar spent is extremely poor. Very displeased with this purchase. My own fault I should have shopped better and tried it out sooner.
