I love this dress! It can be dressed up or down; it's soft; it's stretchy; it's a classic print (b&w stripe). I am 5'5" and ordered a size Small with the intention of wearing it postpartum but it fit great at 35 weeks pregnant and 150lb of pregnancy weight (I'm listing my pre-pregnancy weight for the review. It fits well, not super form fitting and I'm back down to my normal weight.) Even with the belly, I didn't find it sheer at all, but I still wore nude colored undergarments just in case.

Unlike some reviews, I found this fabric to be just lovely, though, definitely not like a terry cloth like you’d expect cotton to be, as this is rayon. I’m sensitive to so many fabrics, but this one feels wonderful! It’s thinner than regular terry cloth, and has just kind of a soft Felty like back to it. It might pill up at a later date, but this photo is what it looked like after I washed it once.Also, the reviews claimed it ran big, but I disagree with that one also as I’m usually a large but I ordered a L & a M, & the Large fit as expected. I’m 5’4”, between 145 and 155, size 10-12. I do intend to wear a top or a cardigan that covers my 68 year-old butt but if you have the figure for it, know the thickness still kind of hides small flaws.

I bought this to wear in the fall with a grey cardigan over it and black and white sneakers. Super comfortable and fits great!

First, the description should read: "FRENCH TERRY" Racerback Maxi Dress. The inside is looped and brushed typical of French terry (like a lightweight sweatshirt; google it and compare my photo). I was expecting something heavier than a t-shirt since it’s not jersey but wasn't sure what interpretation of "terry" meant here; so many people say terry when they mean fleece or terry cloth. Anyway, I do like the fabric; not see through, a good weight and extremely soft! I would get a lot of use out of this in our cold San Francisco summers but if you are somewhere with hot and humid summers - NO, just no! This will easily take you from spring into fall otherwise, even winter if you run hot. Or lounging around the house - it's very comfortable. The fit is good; I wear a 42DD bra and XXL fits great up top not tight but not loose, larger armholes than expected but I'll wear a black bra and you won’t notice as much. I'm 5"4 and the length is great, came to my ankles so no need to hem. Unfortunately, I had to return because the neckline was sewn incorrectly; the left side is round, and that strap is thinner. Where it connects to the back piece it's offset so a little piece of fabric sticks out on my shoulder. I’m returning this one and already ordered a new one – hopefully that one is sewn better as it is a great maxi dress.

This dress is well made, I’m 5’3, 128, 36D and I purchased a small. Fits very nice and not to thin to see under garments !! Very flattering dress, I bought black but going to purchase pink also

I think I got the wrong size potentially. The material on this was really nice but it ran HUGE and was so unflattering on me, basically a sack. I also returned my amazon try-before-you-buy order that this was in and the ENTIRE order was apparently never received and I got charged $300 for a bunch of items I do not have. Very disappointing.

Not at all the style I was going for, I wanted something not too tight but not too loose, and this was way too loose. If you're a tall skinny woman this would work, if not it won't do anything for you.

This is such a comfortable soft touch dress. I’m a size 12 and a small fits perfectly. I’m 5”7 and the length sits just above my ankle. I got a black dress and it’s not see through at all like other brands can be. The material is quite thick and will be a very versatile dress.
