AKP80110 18" Structural Foam, 2" x 2" Bolt On

This lid matches the sump liner sold under the same brand name. It is a pretty complete kit which will allow you to close off the hole completely. This particular one allows sealing which can make installing a radon gas system easy. It comes with gasket material, and already has a couple of holes punched in it, but you can adapt/change for your particular application. The material is a relatively heavy plastic that appears durable. The only caveat is that I don't believe it would be heavy enough to place heavy things on top of, but since you will have hoses coming out anyway, it most likely is a non issue. It's a little pricey for what it is, but well worth it to have the sump hole sealed off neatly without having to fabricate anything.

Fits perfect. The only reason I downgraded to 4 stars instead of 5 is that it's not as strong as I expected. My sump pit is in a closet and I fear that if anyone in the future uses this as a step, it'll collapse and they'll end up with a very stinky foot.

I purchased two of these lids to seal up the sewage pump and the sump pump in our basement before we could install a radon mitigation system. The old lids for both tanks were very difficult to remove them to clean the tanks, but the new lids both installed easily with a bead of silicone around the perimeter.

Well made but too flat for my sump that has a backup water powered pump

This cover worked really well for me but it comes with a 2" openings when i needed 1 1/2" for the PVC pipe. I went to home depot and got a 1 1/2" flange for the pipe and a fitting with a cap for the other one. You will only be using one hole so you have to close off the other. It comes with all the required hardware but do make sure that you buy the flanges otherwise you will have an opening around the 1 1/2" pipe from the pump.

Not sure what is wrong but I bought this one because the 18" one we got from Home Depot was too small. This one is the exact same size as the 18" lid we already have...where did the extra 2 1/2" go? Lol

This sump cover was a perfect fit for a sump hole that was put in our basement when we build our house in 1977. The only extra thing I did was to also use some clear silicone around the edges and over the bolt holes. Completely seals the sump hole. I would definitely recommend this product!
