My hair is very sensitive to humidity, and this really helps keep it under control and smoother. I recommend using very conservatively until you figure out how much works for you--I use two drops on the top half of my long, wavy/frizzy hair, and two drops on the bottom, massaged and combed through before blow-drying/styling. Any more than that and my hair will have too much product weighing it down.

Writing a review after using consistently for 13 months (f22, 3x a week, when I shampoo my hair.) Back in 2019, I went through hormonal changes while living in China, and the pollution combined with the body changes caused me to experience hair loss, shedding, and the absolute destruction of my hair from root to tip. I was deep conditioning, trying all kinds of oils, I tried cutting off as much of my hair as I could, and nothing worked to heal my fragile hair. I got this oil and the Olaplex bond smoother product on the recommendation of my hairstylist, and from the first application (3 pumps to my palm, spread through the lower 3/4 of my hair when damp, followed by a tiny bit of Olaplex on my ends only) it smoothed frizz in a way I did not see with any other product. I kept using it, and one year on, my hair has healed back to its original softness, is growing again, and I've been able to switch back to just typical Garnier shampoo. It is expensive for one bottle - but I bought one bottle in June of last year, have used every other day since, and I still have about a quarter left. Would buy again, will buy again, and highly recommend. Smells really really good also!

Concerned shopper here -- my product was sent without safety features, such as: -no lid, -no protective seal, -and it appears that this product was used, as some of the product is missing (picture shows level). Very disappointed. I have used Redken products for at least 30- years and have never had this problem. Maybe this is a one-off. Maybe was a "tester" or return. Not sure, but not acceptable, particularly missing the lid. As far as the brand and product - I've used this oil serum for years. It is my go-to for heat, salon processed, color/ bleached hair protectant, repairs, and for smooth styling. Use it for frizzy days, breakage, smoothing, get-healthy hair regimes. Love the product, just not this particular order.

This is the best hair product I’ve ever used that actually works. I have frizzy curly hair and this literally makes my hair dry straight somehow. It’s great before blow drying too. So smooth and shiny I recommend this to everyone!!!
