Very smart looking, with a smooth movement and features of a much more expensive watch
After seeing a few video reviews of Invicta watches I quickly had a scrol through the different designs and had been waiting an age for this one to drop in price and luckily this sales week brought me good fortune. An early Christmas present for myself... Well for the Mrs to give to me. There have been lots of comparisons between this watch and a certain luxury watch brand that developed a model of diving watch and if you want that brand go ahead and spend 15/20k, but I'm not concerned about brand. I want a good watch and this is what we have here. It arrives in beautifully bold yellow presentation box. Open it up and the watch is well protected with lots of film on the front and bracelet. Peel it off and the face is lovely and clear, the lume also works a treat for the hour markers. The date window also magnifys the date easily and clearly. The bezel can be rotated anti clockwise for diving use. It felt a bit stiff, which is better than too soft. Just rotate the marker at 12 to align with the minute hand and you can easily track time spent either underwater or since you put your dinner in the oven. The crown (winder) arrived already screwed down. This is the mark of a real diving watch. To stop water getting in lightly press the crown down and rotate so that it clamps onto the threads and seals the watch tightly. Unscrew the crown and you can then wind the watch. It will charge while being worn as thisbis an automatic movement but it's good to have the option to give it a quick charge if you won't be active or wearing it all day. Pull the crown out further and you can adjust the date and time. Then push it in and screw down again to seal. The movement is lovely and smooth, much smoother than other automatic watches i have that cost 3 times the price and thanks to the rear viewing window you can also see the internals which is nice. The bracelet is stainless and the clasp is a fold over type rather than butterfly. So it is very secure with no chance of it randomly opening and going flying. It is also a large bracelet. I have large arms and wrists and still had to take out a few links. On the wrist this feels like good quality. It's a balanaced weight. It doesn't feel like a gold brick trying to remind you and everyone around that it's there, and it also is not so light that it feels like it will fall apart. It's a happy medium. This is listed as water resistant to 200m and i can easily believe it. This is a very well made watch for an incredible price. Great value and quality. Highly recommended. You will not be disappointed, unless you want a ยฃ20k branded watch. Thank you for reading my review. I hope you found it useful

daily wear that looks the part without breaking the bank
I have a large wrist and bracelet watches fitting has always been a problem but not this one. easy to follow instructions with lockable crown not that intend on going diving bought it for my daily wear looks the part for not a lot of money and no grief if you accidently drop a a car bonnet on it the fate of my Rolex . Loses about 20 seconds a day but that's me and auto's they don't like me but its accurate enough. comes with a 3yr guarantee easy to register on the Invicta website. easy to read dial Lumosity holds up well just give it a blast from a of uv torch and its good all day. bright colours matches the aforementioned Rolex I had back in 1970's (long since destroyed and chucked) so it has the look without the price tag and expensive service bills. Seems durable but only had it a week has the none yellow rotor but invicta have confirmed its pot luck whether you get one with the yellow rotor or not its all down to availability. watch is genuine functions exactly as described although haven't been diving to 200m but don't intend to so cant comment on that. Its a daily wear that may get wet and looks the part even close up.

Good watch for the price
First off, delivery. Arrived earlier than expected. Well packaged and in an excellent presentation box. No problems there. Lots of protective plastic so everthing was scratch free and pristine. Second, the watch. Great looking timepiece. Just the right size for me. Good solid feel and no thicker than other watches I have owned. Nice dial and colours with a very good date magnifying window. Very minor niggle is the dark green second hand that tends to disappear against the black watch face but it has a white spot that means I can keep track of the seconds. I am knocking one star off the overall rating as the case has some quite sharp edges. Tolerable but could do with some rounding off in manufacture. Also, the strap is quite a job to remove links from. I was beginning to think the pins had been glued in - but just needed a LOT of force to remove. I did manage to adjust it but may change to a leather strap at some time in the future. Even so, I have no complaints about the quality of the supplied strap and it compliments the watch perfectly. The clear back is nice as I can see the workings. OK, a novelty really, but I like it. Can't comment on water resistance - I don't dive or swim and have no intention of getting it wet enough to test it! Finally, the most important part, timekeeping. I don't know - and really don't care - where the mechanism is made. What I do know is it is pretty accurate. After two days it is only 5 seconds out (slow) which puts it firmly in the 'chronometer' bracket. I have a high quality watch that is only very slightly more accurate so I have no complaint with this watch's timekeeping. Super impressive for the budget price. So to conclude. Having broken my previous Invicta watch (clumsy idiot) I am really happy with this as a replacement. It looks good, feels good and works well. Given that it was reduced in the Spring sale I had not expected such a good item but I am pleasantly surprised. Having had two Invicta's now and being happy with them I would certainly buy this brand again. The last one stood the test of time (sorry for the pun) until I dropped it on concrete from a great height and expect this one will also last. Totally satisfied.

Great bang for your buck watch.
Took delivery of this today and I have to say Iโm very pleased and impressed with it so far. It looks very striking and the size is perfect on my wrist when I took out 4 links. 200m of water resistance which I highly doubt Iโll ever need but Iโm sure itโll be fine in the shower. A very reliable NH35 movement is what attracted me to this watch. Lovely screw down crown and I love the Invicta print on the side of the case. Very decent lume also that is nice and bright. As Iโve only had it an hour I canโt comment on its durability but Iโm sure itโll be fine for what I need it for. The only let down is the bracelet which is a little jangly but a minor issue which doesnโt really bother me. Definitely recommend. Great watch for the price. Was delivered a day early too. ๐

Third time lucky ....very pleased.
Invicta pro Diver 42mm wow what a beautiful watch, and a very accurate automatic Seiko movement. My other 2 Pro divers are the same movements but have the yellow winder pendulum visible in the display case back. Still the N35a movement but I suppose cost cutting taking the standard movement over the Invicta branded version . As soon as I unwrapped it I gave it a full wind and set the date and time then popped it on the timegrapher to see how it was performing. Wow equally as good as my Rolex GMT master II ( for considerably less money ) but we are talking a whole different ball game, these Invicta are my daily drivers , but that said look equally as good on the wrist. I've included a shot of the timegrapher readout, trust me you will get sideways glances at your wrist with these on, is it ? Isn't it ? The thing I like about Invicta Pro Divers they are a brand in their own right dating back to 1837 and has had several owners since and currently is in American hands. The Pro Diver , yes loosely styled around the Rolex Sub Mariner, yet doesn't try to fool the wearer. It's logo is distinctive and brand etched into the case as is the crown and the smooth sweep second hand counter balance. The dial is free of complications and clear to read. Only one criticism and it is very minor , they should upgrade the lume used on the dial and the hands to last longer once charged, it does fade quite quickly but it's not a deal breaker ( my Rolex once charged at night still glows in the morning, but if it didn't I'd want to know why) Buy one .......buy more than one if you like watches this is one to add to your collection. "Third time lucky" ....I did have 2 of these but with the steel /gold bracelet and bezel with Pepsi bezel insert but both had faulty misaligned cyclops magnifier on the date window , so I gave up trying and went for the full steel , I think it looks better really.

Absolutely fantastic for the money...
Superb for the money,. If you like the look of the Rolex Submariner, then this is the budget version. !! I have a 7 1/2 inch (190mm ) wrist, so I went for this 42mm version, and so glad I did, As I think the 40mm one, would look like a child's watch on me. ! The jubilee bracelet is an added bonus, very stylish, and very comfortable. The only downside so far, is that it gains 7 seconds a day, which isn't that bad, (for a mechanical watch,) but I plan on taking it to a watch repairer, sometime in the future, and getting it adjusted. I'll give it a few weeks first, to "get run in ". If they can get it running within a couple of seconds a day, I will be extremely delighted. I would happily have paid two or three times the price, for this excellent watch... So, all in all, this is a fantastic watch, and I highly recommend it. I would buy another tommorow, if anything happened to this, and it's got a 3 year guarantee,... ( update on the accuracy,, after trying all the different positions, for leaving the watch overnight,, when placing it dial downward, the accuracy has improved to around 3 seconds per day,, I'm highly delighted now,,!!! ) Edited after a couple of months,,,, I've tried different positions, for leaving it overnight, and now, if I leave it face down at night, it is now running at a +2 seconds a day, which is absolutely fantastic,,.. I can't praise this movement /watch highly enough,,, JUST BUY ONE,,,,,,

Nice colour and works well
I think this watch looks the part. It has a good weight to it and is stylish for a cheaper watch. I have a Hamilton khaki navy and I think the Invicta watch keeps as good of a time than the other. The movement is nice and I like the fact you can see through the back case to see the movement's. It has nice inscribing on it which stands out. The only thing I am not so sure about is the bracelet as it doesn't sit straight sometimes due to the design of it. The clasp is secure even though it's a bit fiddly to unclip. The screw crown is easy enough to release and set up the date and time. The green and the black really stand out and the shine of the chrome parts look really good. The bezel movement is nice and moves back to the top position which lines up good. Overall it's a great watch and would buy another one in the future of the same make.

A Very Handsome Brand New Invicta 42mm Stainless Steel Pro Diver_Day 1
Just today received my new Invicta 42mm Silver Pro Diver Model 21978 with the stainless steel jubilee bracelet from Amazon. Delivery from Amazon was quite fast, in 2 days as promised. The watch arrived in the classic yellow Invicta watch box including the standard instruction manual and Invicta polishing cloth. Given the price point, the build quality for this watch appears to be well above my initial expectation. Took it to my local jeweler who quickly sized it to my 7.25" wrist. As you can see from the photo, at 42mm, this watch is rather large, but is very much to my liking. The black dial with silver indices and silver markings on the black bezel is very readable. Although the design is clearly a homage to the Rolex Submariner, the Invicta branding makes it clear that this is not a Submariner. And, at $75.50, the value of this 200M dive rated watch is extraordinary. The bezel rotation and crown action is very positive and very smooth. The jubilee bracelet is comfortable and quite adequate. The Seiko NH35A Japanese automatic movement has a long history for quality and mechanical accuracy. I have not been a fan of Invicta watches in the past, however, I love the way this Invicta Pro Diver looks on my wrist and like the overall quality. I plan to provide a more in-depth review after a few months. If you are thinking about buying this 42mm Pro Diver and have any questions about this Invicta watch, please do not hesitate to leave a comment. Update 03/10/2021 Its been three weeks since I received my new Invicta 42mm Diver and I am so thrilled with it that I could not wait a few months to post an update. This watch looks and feels so much better than expected. The quality at this price point is nothing short of amazing. I have worn it on and off together with my Seiko SKX007 pretty much every day, and will often keep it on to sleep at night with no issues. The black dial with white lume indices is crisp and easily readable. The bezel is piano black with silver minute marks which provides a nice compliment to the black dial. It also lines up perfectly with the chapter ring and the rotation, although quite firm, is smooth and precise. The lume is not as good as a Seiko SKX007, but it is quite adequate. With a 30 second charge, the lume will pretty much last all night. The Japanese NH35A caliber movement is a real workhorse, is quite reliable, and makes for a great daily tool watch. The jubilee bracelet is very attractive and is quite comfortable. After having it sized by my local jeweler, I decided I needed to tighten it up a bit which I was able to do very easily with the 4 micro adjustments on the clasp. I really cannot say enough good things about this 42mm Submariner homage. I have never been a fan of the oversized Invicta quartz watches, however, this 42mm automatic is something quite special to me. Some reviews have criticized the Invicta branding on this diver, however, I tend to like it and think it adds its own charm to this beautiful timepiece. If you can find this watch at or below $75 dollars, I would not hesitate to recommend that you make the purchase. You will not be disappointed!

Nice watch.
Nice watch. I love it. Strap is a bit light but it makes sense considering the case weight is already there.
