When we installed this battery initially we had reading of 255% battery level and that the laptop was charging yet was not plugged in. We ran dell troubleshooting and couldn't come up with a solution. I called Amazon tech support who were amazing and offered a simple solution that worked and that was to turn off the laptop take the battery out and put the battery back in and it worked. it just needs to register that it doesn't have a battery and then when you put the new battery in it will register the new battery without dells chip. This battery is fantastic and the price point is great. 10 out of 10 will buy again if needed.

Don't buy it. I installed this battery in my Dell XPS 9340 and the battery is ONLY GOOD FOR 1 to 2 hrs! It should be good for 8 to 12 hrs. at minimum. As a bonus, install was a breeze, so I will be buying a new Dell OEM battery to replace this generic one. Learned my lesson..

I purchased this used for $22. I was skeptical. Product had tiny scratches and fingerprints. The wire was a wee bit longer than Dell original, so I had to squeeze it in to fit. But, it works! Dell Latitude 5289 Laptop 2-in-1 fixed. If the wire was identical and the tools useable (completely wrong, but maybe useable in the future for something else), I’d give it 5 stars.

The battery came intact and worked as expected. The battery fit into my Dell Latitude 3790 after forcing the cable into the slot. Now my laptop can last 7 hrs on a full charge.

Delivered quick and worked as it should .. thanks ... Post review review .. had the problem where the battery would charge but would not boot or power the computer without the charger attached ... Did the hard reset per the instructions (disconnect battery and charger and hold power button for (it said 20 seconds ... I held it for a minute) and then reconnect battery and the computer worked as it should .. thanks for the instructions included in the ad ..

Wegen der guten Bewertung und Kundenrezensionen hier in Amazon habe ich mich für den Kauf entschieden. Mein alter original Batteriesatz hatte nicht mehr funktioniert. Die Entscheidung war sehr gut, die Laufzeit des i7 17" Laptops beträgt im Baterie Modus (mehr Akkueffizienz) nun 5 Stunden (einem Monat nach Kauf) und ich bin sehr zufrieden. Lieferung und Verpackung von Amazon waren einwandfrei. Einbau habe ich selbst vorgenommen. Von mir 5 Sterne.

Compre una que se degradó al mes, la tuve dos meses y la devolví, DELL decia que habia pasado su vida util, KYUER contactó conmigo y me envió otra, he esperado un mes a editar el comentario para estar seguro que va bien, y sigue durando unas 4 horas y es fiable la estimación de tiempo.
