**Q: Does anybody know what adapter I need to connect to standard tyre inflator please**
A: The brass fitting on the end of the hose in the photo clips onto a standard car tyre valve.  The gauge needs to be connected to female quick release coupling on a compressed air line using the quick release male fitting supplied screwed into the base of the gauge unit (if it is the same size and type as the connector on the compressed air line) or an alternative male connector obtained if necessary.

**Q: does this need to be connected to an air supply in order for the digital gauge to work? can I use this as a portable gauge without a compressor?**
