Love LG monitors, and this one is excellent
I think an investment in a good monitor is one of the best investments you can make if you use computers. Yes, every year there is a new processor/graphics card but a good monitor can last several generations. I use this 32" LG monitor with both Macs and Windows PC's and it works flawlessly. I drive the monitor to 4k in all configurations. For me, 4k on smaller monitors is a challenge since the type becomes too small (too old I guess). I find the type crisp and easy to read. On Windows, you can set the size of text in applications - I generally use 150%. What this means is that Windows will "magnify" the application size so it appears bigger. It works well for me. I do know that some Mac types feel that the type is not perfect since the dot density is not the same as say a 13" laptop. I don't notice the difference but some Mac fans prefer the 27" 4k monitor. If this is important to you, you should try it out first. I have bought several of these for my business and they have all worked without any glitch or flaw - so the reliability appears high.Out of the box, set up is easy. You have to assemble the stand which takes two screws. The stand snaps onto the monitor. Set it upright and you are ready to go. The stand has a curve shape which faces forward and it stands about 3" in front of the monitor. If you want to push your keyboard back under the monitor, you will have to place your keyboard on top of the curve stand (about 3/4" high). Not a problem for me. The monitor adjust both in height and tilts back and forth, the bottom coming out or pushing back by a bit to adjust the viewing angle. The viewing angle is not critical so you can move your head around or up and down without issue (meaning, the monitor viewing angle is very forgiving).I use the USB C connection for Mac laptop and my Lenovo X1 notebook. The USB C will charge the laptops while connected. I have not chained two monitors together using Thunderbolt so I don't know how that works. Make sure you use a USB cable that is also a power cable - not all of them are. I have also attached the Displayport connector to my desktop and it works fine. All in all, this is an excellent monitor. Expensive, yes, but it just works.

Unreliable monitor; horrible support from LG
The monitor is fine, when it works.I have had random screen blanking with the monitor since I purchased it. It just goes blank for a few seconds, and then comes back. Sometimes will not happen for days. Does not seem correlated with usage time, temperature, or anything obvious.Using monitor with 2018 Macbook Pro, connected via USB-C. After multiple calls with Apple, Apple swapped the logic board in MBP. Problems persisted. I returned the monitor to LG under warranty. They returned it 3 weeks later. The blanking issue occurred within 15 minutes of connecting it.Monitor was sent to LG a second time under warranty. After several weeks I contacted them and they identified that a return shipping label had been created over a week earlier, but the monitor had not shipped. They were not able to determine why. Monitor eventually showed up a week later, but missing the power supply and USB-C cable. It is useless without those. The monitor has either been with LG, or in shipping back and forth, for three of the last four months.A follow-up call with LG support indicated that they would look into it and call back in 24-48 business hours. A week later, no response. I called LG support. No indication that I had called a week earlier on the support ticket, only that the support request was closed because the monitor had been shipped back. When I explained the problem, the support rep said I should not have returned the "accessories" with the monitor, which is the opposite of the shipping guidance they sent for the warranty repair "SEND APPROPRIATE ACCESSORIES ONLY (E.G. HDMI Cable, Power cable, All speakers of sound bar, etc.)." After losing my cool with the support rep, they agreed to ship replacement parts.LG is now sending a replacement power supply and USB-C cable. Fingers crossed that the blanking issue with the monitor has been resolved.I DO NOT RECOMMEND THIS MONITOR.Update:Replacement power supply and USB-C cable arrived. BUT WITHOUT THE AC LINE CABLE, so the power supply is useless. If it was a standard AC power cable (e.g., IEC or something) I could find an alternative, but it is a custom cable.Called LG. Again.Representative confirmed that the previous rep only ordered two parts but should have ordered three. Rep placed an order for the missing AC line, but said, that it will take 7-10 days to arrive.Way. To. Go. LG. This is absolutely stellar customer service.

Capable/Supports DP 1.4 with FreeSync and HDR
1st the specifications on Amazon and LG's website are not clear enough, here are the specs as i have seen3840 x 2160 60Hz, 1x DP 1.4 with FreeSync and HDR Support, 2x HDMI 2.0 with FreeSync and HDR Support, 1x USB-C/DP 1.4 with HDR doesn't Support FreeSync on USB-C/DP 1.4 or maybe it's coz of the RTX 2070 USB-C implementation.I will update this review after using it for some time to pass overall quality judgement coz i got the monitor yesterday and is when i started using it.I had to buy the monitor blindly without any reviews coz there are non just so i could get the correct specs by checking my self because the information on Amazon, LG and other websites are vague but at least now anyone who reads this will know the actual specsI'm on Windows 10 1903 and the scaling is automatically set to %150 recommend by Windows, i can say this displays can easily be set to %125 and which is very usable and comfortable but that's my opinion,%100 scaling is also more than fine by me but that's just me.Windows should update and put this displays in the %125 Recommend by default, but that's just my opinion
