Great for exfoliation

This has been my favorite body wash for over 5 yearsI bought it because of the review by the stripper and I can say she definitely wasn't lying. This stuff keeps the body acne completely away, like my skin is flawless using this bodywash. I have tried using cheaper washes over the years at different times and within a few days to weeks the acne is back. This wash really works wonders, it smells good and father's really well too. The only problem is it always arrives leaking, but I deal with tjat because its so great

I've only used it twice so far but this is my take:My normal exfoliating wash cloth makes it so I have to use a lot, so I tried my Coco & Eve silicone scrubber. Definitely an improvement and use less wash this way. It costs too much to use it liberally so I'd recommend trying a silicone body scrubber.The scent doesn't linger on the skin like so many other washes. Love that. I was worried because it's got a strong scent. Not unpleasant, just not one I like.But what makes it promising is the ingrown hair I didn't even know I had popping out after the second use. I've got stubborn KP on my upper arms and have been experiencing ingrown hairs and bumps on my legs, as well as flaky patches all over. And I've noticed some crepey appearance. My legs are already smoother and the ingrown I was unaware of was a very long hair and it just surfaced and came away like nothing. I was shocked by that. It leaves my skin dryer in appearance than even my harshest soap, but it isn't. There are no flaky patches and my skin looks smoother. I've used all sorts of washes and creams and scrubs, but just two uses of this and I'm sure it will just keep getting better. Will definitely try the lotion next.

I've been using this body wash and other products for years. I love the smell and how it makes my skin feel. I try to buy on sale, because the price is a bit high. Too much more and I will have quit buying it. I did set up a subscription to get the best price.

I'm on my third bottle of this body wash. It moisturizes well without leaving me feeling "coated." I noticed I did not need as much body lotion during the summer months - the winter months will put it to the test! It has a decent lather, not overly thick and foamy, and the foam dies down pretty quickly when you start washing. I developed a very mild case of keratosis pilaris on my lower legs (a perk of getting older), and this body wash definitely reduced the appearance. When I started on my first bottle, I noticed an increase in breakouts, which eventually subsided. I think that was a result of the high glycolic acid content. Now my skin is smooth with hardly any breakouts! My only complaint is the scent. Personally, I do not find it to be "fresh" or "spa-like" as others have said. It's not bad, just not my favorite.UPDATE March 2025: Several others noted that their bottles arrived with the safety seal partially opened and soap leaked in the package. I have now received three bottles this way. It appears that someone popped the seal to smell it, didn't like it, and either returned it or didn't buy it in a store. This is unacceptable and unhygienic. I don't know if this is an Amazon problem or a reseller problem. I doubt these bottles come from the manufacturer with open safety seals. I have reduced my rating solely based on repeatedly receiving opened products and possible contamination issues.

My advice would be to test your skin first and let your skin get used to this product but once you are over that hump ,you will will love it.! Is strong sometimes I like to pair it with something that foams up that's just me. Please do not put it on your neck ,buttocks, and be careful if you put it on your knees these type of products are known to backfire on you, and to make your skin even darker trust me. On the other days you something more natural like a cocoa butter soap therefore you are doing something gradually but it's more natural . Try to use this product at least three times weekly no more than that give your skin a chance to breathe and last but not least I know I'm very detailed but just moisturize moisturize and moisturize afterwards cuz anything like this can strip your skin moisture and you need to moisturize but for the price this is most definitely the best price that I have seen compared to any similar products

You found it! Absolute holy grail exfoliator. This stuff works magic on crepey skin. Powerful product so use sparingly and only once a week. The ultimate hack is to apply this wash to wet using a Korean body scrub mitt [available on Amazon] —Rinse thoroughly and be sure to moisturize after. Truly dynamite for smooth younger looking skin!

I was really surprised after I tried this that I walked out the shower not looking so ashy as I usually do with other soaps. I felt clean and at the same time my skin felt really good. I didn't believe having super clean skin that's not super dry was attainable until trying this soap. It doesn't foam that much but that's fine for me. I believe most of us have gotten used to having soap be super foamy and soap bubbles everywhere so when that expectation is not met we don't "feel clean" in our head. I wasn't a fan of the scent..it kinda reminds me of nail polish remover but I won't take off a star for that because it wasn't bad and it dissipated quickly. If I could I'd take half a star off for adding color into the soap, because I don't understand why that's necessary. Overall the good outweighed the bad so I like it!

Not what I expected having paid as much as I did. A fairly average shower gel that is not significantly different from others a third of the price. Will not buy again.

This product arrived on the date expected and was exactly as described by the seller.I love the scent and colour of this body wash.The bottle arrived in perfect condition and I used it the same evening.My skin felt very clean after using just a little!Very excited to see how my skin will look and feel after this bottle.I also bought the Alpha renewal body lotion to use with the body wash but that bottle arrived with a broken cap and seal and not full (perhaps some fell out or tampering). This made my overall order disappointing.

I’ve been a fan of Alpha skin for many many years so I was expecting good things with this body wash, and it did not disappoint. My skin feels great and smooth after using it and it doesn’t get dried out. I was concerned about the scent as I can be sensitive to artificial scents but it seems to leave my body after I rinse it off. My teenager says it is working on their “bacne” as well. Will definitely be repurchasing this product.
