These worked great on my 2007 Mercury Grand marquis. These would not fit a police version or a taxi version, keep in mind. BUY THIS VERSION IF YOU DON'T HAVE POLICE OR TAXI. They are easy to install as long as none of your bolts are seized, especially the one connecting your former strut tower to your lower control arm. I would recommend replacing a few other parts while you are there because you have to remove many things to get to these. I would also recommend put your three bolts in the top first and then line up the bottom hole. You could use a long screwdriver to straighten this piece if it is off center at all. As for the actual ride quality I can definitely see an improvement over stock. Or I should at least state, the original piece is almost 20 years old so I imagine anything new would be an improvements but these have worked great and it's been about a month. I would recommend.

This were installed on a 1999 Honda Accord Lx sedan. This strut assemblies fit perfectly. This were for the front struts. Ride quality is great. Did not run into any problems with the installation. I looking into replacing the rear strut assemblies next.

08 gmc sierra 1500. Has level kit so it was difficult to apply to truck. Only gotten 1 on so far. Kinda intimidated to start the other side. But the new one seems to ride pretty good. Will know more once the other one is applied. It normally pretty easy job unless u have the level kit on truck. Then ur gonna have to squeeze this thing on there. I suggest using spring compressor. Or it will be a longer harder job. UPDATE... THEY ARE NOISY. THEY SQUEAK A GOOD BIT.

You better hope you don't receive a faulty strut. I did and Detroit Axle are making it as hard as they can to avoid replacing it. This includes requiring a mechanics report indicating a rattle that started 3 days after the strut was installed and sounds exactly like a faulty upper mount is coming from the brand new $80 strut. Guess who gets to pay for such "proof"? And guess how much it costs to have this additional work done? The bolts are tight and the sway bar endlink is new. It's the bad DA strut.

Much better then the stock struts have had them in the truck for 3 months and works great broke two of a premium struts but Detroit axle seems to be much stronger

Fit 2010 Mazda 3. Seem to be decent quality. Brought sagging front end up to stock height, nice to have properly working shocks again. Hopefully they last a few years!
