I especially liked the humour and cheekiness he brought to the role of Aquaman and the blend of live footage with the CGI was the best I've seen in a long time. My only criticism is that the film felt like scenes, or parts of the story were missing and had ended up on the cutting room floor, due to the restrictions placed on the length the film could be. I think perhaps it would have worked better as a TV series, as the background of Atlantis could then have been expanded apon. Having said that, I still thoroughly enjoyed the film and was happy to discover that the ending implies there will be sequal. It would make a fantastic TV series and with Jason Momoa cast as Aquaman, it would ensure the series ran for season after season! Review: A good film - We liked this film.
