H7-W HiFi Compatible 6.35mm 1/4" TRS Plug for HD700 Headphone Upgrade Cable, OCC Wire, Replacement Audio Upgrade Cable, H7-W (6.5ft/2M)

This is not the first cable I've purchased from ZZH&KK and it won't be the last. In fact, I just now placed an order for a Beyerdynamic T1 2nd Generation headphone cable with them. KK cables look good, are well constructed, sound good and are not outrageously priced. This cable for the HD700 is no exception. It looks nice, feels nice, is well constructed, is flexible and improves the sound over the stock cable. To my ears it provides better clarity over the stock cable and the bass sounds better too. It might be all in my head but as long as I'm happy with the purchase that's all that really matters.

My stock Sennheiser cable broke so I bought this one. I like the premium build. Everything looks and feels high quality. Cable is shorter than the stock Sennheiser.It's definitely a different sound from the stock Sennheiser cable. Less treble. It really sounds awesome in games. Rock music sounds amazing. Electric guitars really shine. Pop vocals sound really good as well. Although the beats of pop and hip hop sound a bit softer. Everything sounds less digitized and more analog. My original Sennheiser cable broke so this will be fine. The oval shape of the original one was annoying anyway.

I returned this but, and that's a big BUT, they cable was perfect in terms of materials. The problem is, the stock cable for the Sennheiser HD700 is a Silver Plated Oxygen Free Copper. This cable is Oxygen Free Copper (OFC) and because of that the sound changed. I want to keep the stock sound and unfortunately is seems this manufacturer/seller does not make a cable that is Silver Plated Copper.Other than that it was absolutely worth the money. The build materials, fit and finish were great. It's a shame.

For the price these are a very nice replacement cable for the HD700 and Audioquest Nighthawk and Nightowl. I've tried them with all 3 and they sound as good as with the stock cable. If your wanting to save money and still get a good cable I highly recommend these because they're much better than the $20 or $30 cables you find on hear and I know I've tried them before.

Like many other the original cable for my HD700s ended up breaking. I was wanting a shorter cable anyways compared to the original one. The sound quality is the same as original. Would buy again.

Very close to the original cable. Yet consider the cost, it is a very good buy.

My stock cable went out on my HD700s, bought several replacement cables. None of them worked until I bought this one. The cable looks and feels great. everything fits snug as it should be. I can't tell any noticeable difference in sound quality between this and the stock cable. In my opinion, it sounds just as good as the original cable. Overall very pleased with it and would recommend.

the build quality of these is clearly better than the original cable my headphones came with...they sound great too. no difference in qualitybe mindful of the length, its a 5 foot cable. perfect for me, but definitely short
