Rachael Ray Create Delicious Stock Pot/Stockpot with Lid - 12 Quart, Red

I got this stockpot in almond and love it! It is enameled so the obvious rules apply to only use softer utensils and sponges with it or it will chip. I do expect that, with proper care, this will hold up a long time. The sticker is pretty stuck on but if you put a few quarts of water inside and heat it up on the stove, the sticker peels right off super easily. I recommend using a pair of tweezers being mindful not to scratch the pot, so you don’t burn your hands. It’s beautiful, durable, and a great kitchen staple to help me make more food at home and save money on eating out.

This is a perfect pot to cook homemade dumplings in! It is high enough not to boil over when cooking a big batch of dumplings. My neighbor has borrowed it twice to cook dumplings too.

The sparkly candy apple red color is way prettier in person. The micro glitter adds a nice shimmer but it’s not tacky. I was a little disappointed in the quality. From a distance it looks like a well designed pot that *maybe* you paid a little more for. Upon inspection you quickly realize that’s the point - to look luxe. The paint is uneven on the lid and the silver metal trim is crimped unevenly and badly. It looks like they just gave up after struggling to apply the trim. The paint may be uneven but the finish is intact and that’s what’s important. I purchased this for canning, making pasta & large batches of soups. I’m a bit hesitant to use it for soups because of the gaps in the trim. I’m going to keep it since it meets most of my needs & I don’t want the hassle of initiating a return.

This pot is the very best I have ever bought!!!!! Easy to use the handles do not get hot. Cleans like a breeze makes enough spaghetti gravy to feed my holiday gathering in the one pot I will purchase more of Rachel Rays products

If I could give a negative star I would! This pot is absolutely NOT Nonstick. It impossible to cook anything in this pot without having food stick to the bottom, requiring hours of soaking to get it clean. Used it twice -first time I made chili. It charred black on 3/4 of the bottom and it took 5 times of boiling water with baking soda to loosen the char from the bottom of the pot. It left a permanent dark discoloration. Second time, I boiled some rigatoni. When I dumped the cooked pasta,SHOCKER - the bottom was covered in stuck on pasta. It’s like they were glued to the bottom. Another road of boiling water to loosen the stuff stuck to the bottom. Horrible! Sorry I purchased it, DO NOT recommend and definitely will not repurchase

Not suitable for stews as the base will be burnt, hard to regulate the heat
