Vava Cabbage Leaves 54oz

Bought these for a friend from Serbia at her request. She said they were very good. I later found them in Chicagoland grocery stores for $4 apiece. I recommend shopping at international grocers for a better deal .

We love sauerkraut and I found a stuffed cabbage recipe that uses brined cabbage leaves which I had never heard of! I found them on Amazon and ordered a jar. It’s a large jar of nicely rolled cabbage leaves and I made the cabbage rolls and they were delicious!! I highly recommend this product and I have to admit I had trouble opening the jar because it is large and it didn’t fit any of my jar openers. I contacted customer service and they responded almost immediately with a suggestion of using a butter knife under the rim of the lid and it broke the seal. Love the product and the customer service!

This Reduction wraps the large leave around 2 small leaves so it is hard to create consistency in the usage, flavorless actually. I will not purchase again.

Other than the late arrival, to which I was given the opportunity to cancel. However, I chose to wait. I made sarmelas and it turned out delicious. Cabbage jar was well packed, intact and fresh out the jar. Will order again in the future.

Few leaves were huge, but I halved them. The others were too small. A few leaves were brown around the ages. They broke up very easily and were difficult to stuff. The product took ages to reach me. I liked the previous years orders and quality much better. I will have to look for another seller. Too bad the quality of this product went down since the price remained high.

This comes in a glass jar. I have ordered before and it is always very well packed. No leaks or breaks. We make Romanian cabbage rolls with them.

Arriver perfect. I've used this brand for many years and my sarme came out perfectly. I knew what I was getting, and recieved exactly what I was looking for. I was worried the jar would arrive broken, but it was very well packaged. Will buy again.

The jar I received looked a little bit different, it was a pain to extract the leaves. The first roll was ruined because of that. The taste was a bit off.
