Hamlyns Scottish Rolled Porridge Oats, 26 Ounce (Pack of 1)

I've had people argue with me and say there is no difference between American Oats and Scottish Porridge. They are absolutely wrong! This Scottish Porridge is delightful, tasty, smooth, and the difference in taste, consistency and quality are noticeable to me. American Oats to me are bland with a hint of chemicals and taste mass produced. This brand of porridge to me is rich in oaty flavor and super easy to prepare. I use milk and water mixed, and add honey on top. Maybe it's because the Scots don't use as many chemicals and pesticides - I don't know for sure. But I do know this porridge is delicious!

Best oatmeal ever. I’ve made this and tasted it - I can’t go to another brand. Easy to make and short cook time - just follow the instructions. Smooth and creamy. Well worth it.

This is my favorite oatmeal. It's creamy, tasted great plain or with toppings mixed or cooked in, and is always top quality.

This is the real deal. We used to have porridge for breakfast when we were kids at camp. Have never been able to find a porridge as we had back then until I found this one! Yay! It's the best...authentic real porridge. Add a bit of brown sugar and perfect breakfast or snack anytime.

Tastes great and it cooks up just like the directions say. I was very impressed with the flavor of this product. It is a must have in my home from now on!

There is where I met the best porridge ever. Since all those years ago since I tried it in Scotland, I have looked for it in the USA. Finally found it and of course fav, good old Amazon finally has it. It is different and deeper and stronger and fuller and richer than others. So if looking for wimpy or sweet porridge, well, that just isn't how the Scottish roll! This {make sure it is the Green bag} is real and strong and filling and rich. I add organic fresh or frozen cranberries, perhaps a cut up apple or two, maybe macadema nuts, chia seeds all sauteed in real organic butter first. then i add whole milk, some water and put it on low for a long time, stirring often. I make a big batch and keep in a glass container in the fridge and I have a weeks worth of warm it up quick {not with microwave of course} a touch of treacle, or honey maybe some raisins and I am good for a long time with a happy belly.

Really good! Don’t buy it often but it’s totally worth the extra money- for now.

Excellente cereale pour un bon petit degeuner

他社のオートミールが身近で買えなくなったのでAmazonさんで探してみました。普通のプレーンな味なので、いろいろと使いやすいです。安いのでお菓子作りでもたっぷり使えます。

美味しいのに、ここのところ品切れが続いていますね(｡-_-｡) 我が家では白だしで野菜と卵の雑炊にすることが多いです。 お米から雑炊やお粥を炊くのは大変ですが、これなら直ぐできて子供も喜んで食べます。 復活を待っています。
