Review: Great Extra Long Sticks - I was on the search for a new stick. My favorite brand made changes and durability went to crap. I came across these at an event, the church's drummer was using them and they felt great in my hand. Weight, the added length, just felt right. I ordered a set for myself. After a week of using them, I decided they weren't for me, due to the extra added lenght, I have settled on the 8D Extreme model, but would still recommend these, especially if you want a little extra reach.

I was on the search for a new stick. My favorite brand made changes and durability went to crap. I came across these at an event, the church's drummer was using them and they felt great in my hand. Weight, the added length, just felt right. I ordered a set for myself. After a week of using them, I decided they weren't for me, due to the extra added lenght, I have settled on the 8D Extreme model, but would still recommend these, especially if you want a little extra reach.

Love Vic Firth sticks. I’ve been playing with them for years. Over the last 6 years I’ve used the AJ1 or AJ2. LOVE THESE. Was a 5A or 5B extreme guy for years. This extra length, but more Importantly , that extra big fulcrum zone rules. Sticks have so much bounce from anywhere you hold them. For fast choppy Copeland or Carter Beauford stuff these are unmatched. My hands feel like they can do more with these sticks. Seriously. They give me more chops somehow. My hands can keep up with my brain more than ever. Highly recommend. Nice job VFirth.
