Portable Desk Laptop Bed Tray Notebook Stand Workstation with Laptop Backpack (24 INCH, Walnut)

In 2017 there was a Kickstarter and an IndieGoGo campaign for the "AdapDesk". I backed the IndieGoGo campaign in Fall 2017 and unfortunately never received the perk I was promised even after paying an additional $50 via CrowdOx in January 2018 to ensure that my perk would be shipped to me. Hundreds of campaign backers cried out in anger as March 2018 and perks failed to be sent to backers as promised.These desks are fantastic quality. They're ergonomic, adjustable, and have features that most people shopping for a laptop portable desk only dream of. They're perfect for working from home, they're perfect for laptop gaming in the living room, they're great for typing up research papers, and they even hold your drink. However, we're not sure how these desks wound up on Amazon in the first place. All of us on the "AdapDesk Backers" Facebook group are scratching our heads over this.If you're an AdapDesk backer who never got your perk, this is literally the same product. The logos are on the backpacks and the boxes. If you're stubborn and really want that great unicorn of a lapdesk that you can never really find, this is it and this is the only place you can get it. If you're angry that the campaigns failed to deliver, you could launch an inquiry on this merchant's connection to that campaign. Maybe everyone who backed the campaign could get their desks if the merchant squirms enough, but who knows?

OK I work at home and I like to change positions as much as possible and do not like the normal swivel chair/desk thing much. I read the 5 star reviews on this thing and was amazed by their detail and conviction. SO now I am one of them. This Laptop Desk gives me so many options for different positions. It is large desktop, solid, so easy to adjust and best of all some highly intelligent engineering went into this thing. Every detail is just right, and yes they sent directions in the box but hey this is as simple as a kid's toy to assemble/unassembled/adjust. I had it together in a minute and the paper went in the trash. THANK YOU SMART CLEVER KIND DESIGN PEOPLE.

More than impressed at this new invention of laptop desk. Bought the bamboo kind and it was specially made of wooden. Quality seems really well made and sturdy. There wasn't anything flimsy about the product. I was able now use the product while laying flat in bed in a comfortable position. No other laptop desk bed allows that. Laptop can be securely in place with a rubber string holder attached to the desk without moving around. Whoever engineered this desk really thought it through. Worth every dollar. Will have to see how long this would last.

i just unpacked and assembled mine, and i already love it so much that i ordered one for my dad, who's undergoing stent surgery in a couple of days, for his recovery time. he loves that laptop, and this should make his time much happier. why do i already love it so much?- it arrived quickly and undamaged.- every piece was neatly wrapped in bubble wrap but NO TAPE so no frustration.- zero tools needed to unpack or to assemble. not even scissors.- instructions are easy to follow.- the desk and all of its components are precisely crafted and feel very solid.- i can sit criss-cross applesauce or lotus position without problem (i have the wider desk, and it fits nicely on either side of my legs just above my knees; i'm 5'6" and size 12ish, so not super skinny).- even the bag is nice looking and good quality.Edited to add one very important thing: a large cat can snuggle comfortably on my lap beneath it. Or two small cats or a large number of kittens. Even a small dog.what would i improve?- make the height of the cup holder and mouse shelf adjustable. they're a bit low for me in my current position (sitting on the sofa).- offer another snap-on accessory: an elbow rest, for when i'm sitting on the sofa.i kind of want another two for my living room and my bed.anyway, buy this. you will not regret it. i'm ridiculously excited.

This portable laptop desk is great, it is very stable and large enough for my 17" Alienware laptop, which doesn't fit on ANY other portable laptop desk. The lip on the front is great, it is extendable, so if you have a thick laptop like I do it will still hold the laptop up. The only problem is that the mouse tray is far too low when I'm sitting up and have this in front of me - I actually strained my elbow and wrist trying to reach it. So, I just flatten out the top surface and put my mouse with a wrist-pad on the top surface and it works ok. Would love for the mouse tray to be at the same height as the laptop itself. Don't ever use the cup tray - again, it's far too low, so any cup I put into it tends to be popped out when the desk is on my bed.

I got this today and set it up. It wasn't hard but once I was done I realized that there were some things that could be improved on. The cup holder and mouse holder were not worth the effort. Either get rid of them or improve them. Making them adjustable would help a lot. I had my laptop on top of this desk, in the flat position, and it fell over. It isn't as stable as it needs to be to support all laptops. I have a very large laptop that is heavy on the back and the legs were not enough to support it from moving or falling. I had hoped that this was going to be something that I loved from the reviews but I don't.
