Paul Owens, The Original Dog Whisperer 6 Ft. Chew-Proof Training Tether for Dogs & Puppies

I have two fiesty female dogs who cannot be loose around one another after a bad 'altercation' over a bone. We are trying to improve their relationship and have them around one another, but in a restricted way. These tethers have been very helpful. One of my dogs has attempted to chew it, but gave up quickly. They are great for training and to use in situations like mine wherein you want to provide structured interactions with dogs who don't always see eye to eye.

Took our Boxer pit mix camping and we needed a 6 foot leash to hook her to while we were at the campsite relaxing. Those are hard to come by! But we found this one and it worked great! She is a strong girl and we had no problems with this! I would recommend to those with even stronger dogs than mine. We had it attached to a screw in the ground anchor and so that gave her plenty of room to lay down and be comfortable while having to be hooked up.

This 6 ft tether was purchased to help our newly adopted german shepard learn manners and good dog behavior when indoors. It worked as a great intermediate step between being crated versus full unrestricted access to the house and guests. Being about a year old, puppy does like to chew. This tether did get some teeth time from puppy, but it proved to be truly chew proof. I was satisfied with the 6ft length, as the 4ft would have been far to short even for a medium or large dog. The wire does have a strong clear plastic coating which makes it less abrasive, and thankfully, that coating didn't flake off, even in the chewed area. It was just what we needed.

Great for keeping my pet nearby and safe. Doesn't get tangled, and tuff enough for my puppy.

My 75 lb pit/bulldog mix took off at a run at some people and dogs walking by our camping site. The end of this tether snapped. Fortunately my dog is 75 lbs of friendly and all ended well, but what a risk. Maybe I missed a weight restriction. When I purchased this product he was only 40 lbs and still growing.

This was GREAT for car camping with my dog when I had to leave him tied to the car. His separation anxiety sometimes leaves him yowling and chewing through leashes when I leave for a quick restroom break or something, and he didn't even bother trying to chew through this after one year bite. The two clips make it easy to clip directly to things or wrap the cable around. We finally have the tool to help work on his separation anxiety while tied!

Great product. Does what it needs to do. Postage is NOT free delivery to UK there is a customs charge of £11.23!!! Not worth the price of the product and shipping
