Bought this because hubby got a new recliner and I inherited his old one which is still comfy to me but very well worn looking. I had bought another type of protective cover which never worked well, always slid and looked messy so decided to try this style. I'm so happy I did. Hubby decided he should have a protective cover on his new chair so asked me to put this one on his to try. He loves it. The secure straps hold the seat, no pulling and wrinkling no matter how many times he gets up and down. I did have to be a little creative when it came to securing where the foot is. The way his chair is made, If I stretched the anchor straps to hold, it made the foot hard to lift up so I cut a heavy shoe string in half and put it through the elastic loop and tied it in place still leaving it tight enough to keep the material smooth but easy to raise the foot rest part. Initially I had also forgotten about pulling the seat elastic loops below the seat cushion and loop around the legs so the seat area stayed nice and tight. The foam pieces popped out and back of seat area pulled up and wrinkled until I had figured out my error. Now everything fits nice and snug and those foam pieces they give to tuck down the back and sides stay in place. You just have to remember there are 2 sets of straps to snug. We have 2 cats and have seen no hair problem so far. It will be easy to wash and now that I know how to correctly put it on, it will only take a few minutes. I will be ordering another for my chair. It's a great way to change chair color too. No more looking at the old, brown recliner. It shipped fast and was what I expected.

Nice item to fit snug on my electric recliner. Has side pocket for remote for chair + tv. Snug fit, easy to install + do not come out of place like the ones that fit the couch. Fabric is thicker and more soft on the skin ! Do not know about waterproof yet as I never had any spills yet.

These were purchased to cover family room furniture during a house renovation. They worked well for the purpose they were purchased for. The fabric develops pulls after a short time on the chairs. If you have pets they collect per hair. They wash well. For the price and the purpose they worked well.

It fits ok and is doing the job. It could for my chair better but I think most of the issues relate to my recliner design. With that said I would buy again if I have a chair it would fit.

this is this far the best slip cover I've purchased. I love the single piece construction and ease of putting it on the recliner. It fits better than any slip cover I've purchased. The fabric could be thicker and the color a bit more muted for my taste.
