Follow instructions *by C***S on 4 January 2026* I don’t think this is waterproof rather water resistant. Over time it will end up like the last blind and have signs of water damage (black mould), it is the same fabric and style as the last one I had that claimed to be waterproof. However the fitting was a lot easier than previous blinds. I had to trim the metal roller by 5 mm each side but didn’t have to cut the blind what is a positive. The easy fit spring lock is a good design. For the cost I would say it’s good value and well made. It does block the sun which is good as the sun rises to the front of our house.
