It was very easy to get up and running, just need a small screwdriver to insert the batteries and we used a small funnel to pour the bubbles into the base. We used maybe half of the bottle of bubbles that were supplied and I would estimate they lasted about 30 minutes+ of continuous use (once we put it on my son would not let us put it off)! It is very easy to use, just push the button on the back and it will blow bubbles continuously until you press the button off, also easy enough for our 2 year old to control. I love that the bubbles go in a compartment at the base and then the top gets twisted on, so when my son was carrying it around no bubbles spilled out at all. It’s been 2 months and still going strong. I like that the battery compartment is behind a screw but the bubble tank just unscrews from the bottom. It hasn’t leaked at all, the battery lasts a good long time, the bubble machinery is simple and functional. It doesn’t create a barrage of bubbles, but it’s so much easier than a bubble wand to keep the bubbles coming.
