It’s so strong that we couldn’t even try them on our faces longer than a few seconds. It gave me a headache and my eyes were teary. My guess for the smell is cross contamination. I paid $34.56 (purchased them before they went on sale) and contacted Amazon for refund. Amazon said they need to contact the seller. Seller refused to provide refund and didn’t offer an exchange. I’m usually very happy with Amazon, but I wasn’t in this case.
