Quick and Easy Summary
If you are thinking about buying these, you probably are looking on a budget. Life vest are expensive and when purchasing for the family can really add up. I was skeptic to buy @ only $20/per when others are around $40. Prime allowed 2 day shipping, got here quick. They come with tags in a plastic bag. I tried one one and it fit loosely, but I could adjust to fit myself. After adjusting, it was able to fit only my Mom (5'6"), myself (5'8"), barely to my father (6'2"), and decently on my brother (6"). Now, I will make it clear, I had purchased 2 OVERSIZED models. They are still rather small for being oversized, however, they fit everyone in my family. I would think that the Adult size would be very small compared to these, so therefore acting more like a Kid's size. I will be purchasing 2 more after this writing.

Very average, fit is small
Very basic, mid grade vest. There are better options if you are interested in good mobility when wearing a life jacket and I would recommend getting something cut differently if you always wear it for the entirety of your boating trip. These are of average comfort. They are a big step up from the cheap orange life jackets you see people buy simply to be in compliance with the law, but are no where near the comfort of an automatic inflatable that can cost as much as 5 times the price. To be honest, for another 10$ you can probably find a more comfortable vest than this, just by finding a different low profile cut. The fit is small, though they do take some adjustment. If you are over 200 pounds, buy the oversized vest. I am 250 pounds and had to adjust the straps by 2/3 of their total allowable length to be comfortable. The cut of the vest is short, and sits above your belly button, which is probably intentional so as to make you float with your head up, but it does feel strange. I opted to buy these because i have used this brand in the past and had no problem getting 10 plus years out of them. These are not going to be my primary vest and are meant to keep with the boat in the storage bin for compliance in case I forget to pack my expensive one. They were also the lowest cost brand named oversized vests that I could find. While I could have purchased the cheap orange vests at half the cost, the state I live in has requirements that the vest be physically worn during winter months, and while these are a bit bulky, in the off chance that these will be the only vest on the boat, you can actually wear these for the entire day, unlike those cheap orange ones that are so uncomfortable you only want to wear it if you are actually sinking. So my final assessment is that they are average, better than cheap orange vests, but not as good as high cost vests. Id buy the best vest that you can afford. They only save your life if you wear them. If the fit is uncomfortable you will opt to leave it off. You would be best served to visit a real store and try them on in person before you commit to something. Find what works for you best and buy it even if it costs a small amount more. Never buy a cheap orange vest as your primary. You will absolutely regret it, and will never wear it. They are literally for a ship sinking type of emergency and are not reasonable for daily wear. These are the best option for not wanting to spend a ton of money, but also getting a vest that you can wear without terrible inconvenience, and they do hold up well over the years.

These life vests kept us safe after our kayak capsized!
I bought 2 for kayaking. They appear very well constructed, are lightweight, and highly adjustable for a comfortable fit that doesn't obstruct paddling. They are very reasonably priced, especially considering their quality. A few weeks ago we capsized our rental tandem kayak. My wife, who is not a swimmer, stayed afloat due to the vest. I'm heavyset, and I was able to swim a sidestroke to keep her ashore, and I didn't need to worry about keeping myself afloat.

fits a Large person , but not oversized person
I bought this life vest for my husband who is 6'5" and around 225lbs. We need it for kayaking. Although we are not planning on wearing the life vest. Just to have in the vessel as per requirements. However, I'dl like it to fit incase we want to float in the water a bit. It is to small. We extend the straps to get it to fit around his chest, but it only come down just below his chest. Like a few inches from his belly button. It looks a bit silly. It is clearly way to small for him. We are keeping it b/c it will just sit in the Kayak. If you are a tall person over 6feet I think this jacket may be to small. If not: it is a great jacket and a great price. I only gave it 3STARTS b/c if you are going to advertise it as """ oversized""" it is not. I would advertise this as an XL or XXL ---- I can adjust it to fit me and it fits me perfect: I am 5foot 8 and an average sized woman (not oversized) Good Quality.

This one is Perfect. The material is very sturdy and the belt ...
My husband goes fishing a lot, and needed a new life jacket/vest. This one is Perfect. The material is very sturdy and the belt hooks are adjustable, and it fits him perfect. He loves it. He even tried it on so that I could see him in it. He weighs 250 lbs., and there is still some room left. Not much, but just enough to move freely. You will NOT be sorry if you purchase this vest. Very, very good In-VEST-ment.

Buen producto
