OTC 2310 Air Operated Grease Gun - Continuous Flow

This air operated grease gun is more than I expected. It takes the hard part of lubricating out of that job. I have used it on tractors, trailers, and a whole variety of other farm implements. I use one hand to hold the nozzle on the grease fitting and the other to hold the gun and pull the trigger. It has worked first time every time. I have had no problems with plugged fittings, it has enough power to blast grease right on into the seals or bearings where ever it is needed. It is also very fast it cuts the time I spend on a piece of equipment in half.

Stuck piston after about a minute of use. Returned and got a Lincoln and it's been working great. You get what you pay for. OTC, you guys need better QC out there in your contracted China factory.

This grease gun self primes very well, and pumps grease fast. I have ran through three cases of grease with it so far and it still works like its new. a very well made grease gun.

It works great once it works :( Prolly should have gotten the Lincoln. Update: 2023, threads on grease tube magazine or pump body do not thread correctly and magazine pops out. Thought it was a fluke one day, but it has become a reoccurring problem. Lots of messes have been made and lots of grease tubes have been wasted on this pos. The first one I bought lasted years then failed to pump grease so I bought another one, that lasted about 2 months. This IS NOT a professional level tool. The quality of OTC tools has suffered considerably in the recent years. OTC used to be a professional brand. I guess the CEO squeezed a few more cheap bucks for the new gigamansion while the blue collar guy is out cash trying to make ends meet. Should have bought the Lincoln.

This thing pumps some serious grease! I had to grease up my old forklift and my old grease gun was a leaky, gross, slow, and cumbersome tool. Sometimes it felt like I was just pumping air. This tool got the job done super fast. A second or two of trigger pulling is all it takes to grease up a joint now. I guess my only gripes would be the tips need to have a more intuitive locking mechanism for the zerks and that maybe they include a right angle tip with it.

But still each trigger is easy to do and send a good bit of grease down the line. But it is not continuous, if you need that get the Lincoln like others suggested.

Reasonable price, feels well built. Imagine it is going to last a long while for me, since use is infrequent. Time will tell. I can say that it is fantastic having a gun that does continuous flow.

At first I was really happy with this grease gun, but it didn't last long. If you plan on using this a lot I would suggest getting something different. It no longer works after about 6 months of use. When it did work grease would leak past the plunger on the tube, making grease come out of the bottom when you pulled the t-handle out. It made for a really big mess when changing grease tubes. Also grease would spray out of the air exhaust port and around the outside seal for the air cylinder. The line is also too short for getting into tight or hard to reach places. It's a nice idea but unfortunately the build/design quality is very poor.
