Wagner's 53002 Farmer's Delight Wild Bird Food with Cherry Flavor, 10-Pound Bag

The birds absolutely LOVE this stuff! I put food out regularly for the wildlife around my yard, and this blend is definitely a hit with my feathered visitors. Whenever I put it out, the birds show up and make themselves right at home. I love watching all the different birds come by to eat, and based on how quickly they go through it, I’d say they’re pretty happy with my choice. 😂 The 10-pound bag is also a nice size since I put bird food out regularly. I’ll definitely continue buying this one because apparently the birds have spoken, and they would like me to keep it stocked! 🐦❤️

Excellent product!! I got 2 bags and the wild birds love it!! Cardinals, finches, dives etc. I definitely would suggest to others. Great price as well!!

We order the Farmers Delight Wild Bird Food a few times a year. The birds love it. There’s great variety and the product quality has been consistent throughout the years. We use this in our bird feeder. It has attracted doves, pigeons, Red Robins, and sparrows. The Reds have even started nesting in our yard for the past five years. We have four nests this year and each one produces multiple offspring. It’s fun to watch and educational for the kids. I’m sure it’s in part because of the food offered to them. We also use this food in the spring to pack up and take down to the lake so the kids can feed the ducks.

Most importantly. The birds love it. They can’t seem to get enough . Affordable pricing.

First I will say that the product itself smells really good and appears to be quality, for that I give it 4 stars. I am going to leave out one star for following reason. I went from sunflower seed to Farmer's Delight, hoping to attract a wider variety of birds, but to no avail. The seed sat nearly untouched in my feeder for over a week so I switched back to sunflower and the birds returned. I thought maybe if I mixed the sunflower seed with the farmers delight I could stretch out my supply and still be able to get my money's worth. The birds still come, but not at the rate they were with the sunflower seed. I have decided that this blend just doesn't have the appeal to the birds where I live (Eastern Washington) and I don't plan to purchase for my feeders going forward. The local Tom Turkey is really pleased with my decision as he is the one that will have opportunity to gobble up the leftovers, and for that I am grateful. Hopefully this review will help others that live in the Spokane area and are considering this blend for their feeders.

The birds in my neighborhood love this combo. I have been able to see so many breeds of birds on my bird feeder due to this brand. This often doesn't last a week due to how much the birds like it.

This is a fantastic budget seed blend to keep your backyard feeders full during the busy seasons. I put a banana in the picture next to this massive 10-pound bag for scale, though I wouldn't recommend leaving the fruit out there unless you want to feed the local raccoons instead. The most surprising part of this bag is the smell—it has a very strong, sweet cherry scent right out of the bag that genuinely seems to bring in the local cardinals and blue jays faster than plain seed. THE GOOD: • The cherry flavoring actually works as an attractant, and the sheer volume of seed you get for the price makes this an excellent value for high-traffic yards. • It brings in a huge variety of ground-feeding birds, especially mourning doves and juncos. THE TRADE-OFF: • This is a "value" mix, which means it contains a very high percentage of filler seeds like milo and cracked corn. Finicky songbirds will actively kick the milo out of the hanging feeder to get to the black oil sunflower seeds, creating a massive pile of rejected seed on the ground. THE BOTTOM LINE: A great-smelling, budget-friendly birdseed that attracts a ton of wildlife, provided you don't mind the ground-feeders cleaning up the mess underneath.
