It latches shut on the left side. The tailgate has to be open in order to unlatch it, so if your tailgate locks, it's lockable.

No, the Baja has a curved radius at the front of the bed so our covers do not fit with this.

Deuce means 2. So I don't if this is a 2 1 or a 2 2. I figured deuce simply meant it opened two ways.
