I've purchased a fair number of these sets (both in silver and gold) to use for tabletop wargaming, mostly to have a set that won't get confused for anyone else's dice at the table and looks a bit more impressive than the usual 12 or 15mm Chessex dice that you typically see in that milieu. To that end, these aluminum dice strike a fair balance between looking great/feeling good to roll and not being prohibitively expensive to purchase in the sorts of numbers needed for games like Warhammer. Yes, the case is not particularly durable, but I like to think of it as a fancy gift box more than long term storage.

I'm chemically sensitive, and wanted to play yahtzee with friends on zoom. While the dice rolling app on my phone worked, I really wanted real dice. My wife found these for me, as she realized they would be something that could be cleansed of any perfume or fragrance on them from Amazon stock workers who drench themselves in scents before work. Plastic dice would not clean as well. It worked great, they came clean after only one wash and have a very nice weight.

The dice was nice. The container not so much. Container is pretty cheaply made. My son loves playing with these dice. If they could make a better container that doesnt easily pop open it would be better. Almost lost my dice cause of that issue

I bought these for my Dad. He loved their expensive appearance.
