Installed it on my garage wall to keep a gate open.Works very well and unobtrusive.

Used as a catch for some large metal gates on driveway - perfect! Quality seems great as still holding up well months on, and hopefully this continues. Could be used to secure a range of things - doors, gates etc. - would recommend.

It's a bit on the light side I would have payed more if I had found a heavy-duty one time will tell how long this will last on a heavy iron gate. As you can see I bolted it to a half brick first then cemented it in place, then sprayed it black.

First, positioning of this item is all. Get it right and your gate will be caught as it is swung toward this keep.In my case, this meant mounting it on a piece of 50mm x 50mm timber on the brickwork. It just takes a littile thought to mount it and it will work a treat. I also greased the spring as it looked like it might rust, but as the unit is quite cheap, I guess that's to be expected.

Great idea and not bad quality with a strong spring. Only problem is the chock is poorly shaped and the screw that enables adjustment strips it's thread so the chock moves and renders this annoying.

I used this locking device to secure an aluminium side gate open against the house wall. The length of the catch on the arm is adjusted easily, and I was able to make it hold the gate handle while the gate was open. The gate is then closed again by pulling the arm down to release the catch. The plastic-coated catch prevents damage to the gate. A good sturdy product at a good price.

The spring is weak so do not rely on this to hold a door in strong wind. Works OK on calm days

Dit geval loste mijn probleem op. Hij heeft wel een probleempje. Dat driehoekige stukje plastic, de grijper, zit met twee schroefjes vast. Die schroefjes zijn te klein, en draaien onmiddellijk dol. Ik heb hem zelf met een dikkere schroef en een extra boutje vast gezet. Anders 5 sterren.

Ware macht einen guten Eindruck. Qualität ist auch gut. Ob es so funktioniert wie beschrieben wird sich zeigen. Lieferung war gut, schnell und pünktlich.
