These are terrible. There is a slight gap in the blades in the middle. I have to position them either on the very tip or towards the back of the blades to cut a single piece of thread or silk fabric hem. These have one job, and they fail at it. Unreal. One of the worst products I’ve ever bought for my textile products.

I bought these a little bit on a whim, and to be honest, fully expecting to slap myself on the back of the hand once delivered - for buying scissors I didn't really need but kinda wanted as a treat. I expected them to seem cheap and not be as good as I hoped. I could not be more wrong - they are both beautiful AND super sharp and very comfortable to use. Unfortunately, now I feel enabled to buy a few more pairs that I looked at... a stitcher can NEVER have too many pairs of beautiful scissors.

I love these scissors! I bought them because they looked absolutely beautiful -- as a special treat for myself, because I didn't think I needed scissors. I imagined them sitting on my dressing table, gleaming.What I found out when they arrived changed my idea completely. Turns out they are one of the most USEFUL purchases I've made this year. Not only are they even more BEAUTIFUL than they looked online, these suckers are SHARP! They cut through just about anything (including huge cardboard boxes from Amazon), and I've found myself using them for just about anything I do, all day long.So much for not needing scissors! I've been putting up with various dull, unattractive scissors for years, not realizing there was something better at a price I could affod.I'd been feeling a bit guilt-ridden at buying something beautiful for myself that I didn't really need at a time when we're low on money.Now instead of looking for reasons to justify my behavior, I get to brag about how smart I am!!Take it from me -- YOU NEED THESE SCISSORS!! Not only do all women deserve a bit of pampering in the midst of these awful times, a small spot of gleaming silver (or gold) to make up for the dreariness and privation -- we need good tools, sharp tools to get our work done. And these little scissors do both.Go forth and treat yourself (or someone you love). You deserve it!

These are so awesome! Very pretty, very smooth on the finger rings, SUPER sharp and they are well weighted. I’m getting ready to order a few more for my sewing room. I am a scissor collector (I think most crafty people are haha) and these are a welcome addition. To the person who had a problem, please get them to send you a new pair. It sounds like they were damaged during shipping. Seriously, these are very good snips!

My favorite little scissors! I bought these for a gift for my Amish friend several years ago. She liked them so much she had me buy 15 more pairs over the years for her family. They are sharp and easy to carry in my purse although I would like for them to make a little case to carry so I won't get poked. I love the design!

The only thing we weren't pleased with was snipping thread at the tip as it doesn't always snip and you have to insert the thread further down till it does snip. We use this primarily to snip around the sewing machine foot and cleaning up sewn pieces as they come off the sewing machine foot. We really expected for this price to get a snipping scissor to work in tight places at the very tip every time. It's pretty but nothing really spectacular.

I love these scissors for cutting threads as I'm quilting and using the embroidery machine. They are so sharp with very fine points.They stay sharp as long as you don't use them to cut anything else with.Also, don't try sharpening them when they get dull, just throw them away and buy more.

Why are these not sharp?? I sorted by best rating for a pair of embroidery scissors and happened along these. They’re comfortable and very pretty, but the first part of the scissors is completely unusable. I want a pair of scissors that will cut thread without issue and these just don’t make the *cut*
