The bottle shows 1000mg like the photo but the dose information listed on the label indicates that a serving is 2 tablets. One serving is listed as 1000mg so I assume each tablet is 500mg based on that.

Not really.. this is more helpful for extra acid stomachs with gastritis.. it helps to heal and recover faster from ulcers.. you should try natural remedies like prune juice to help you with constipation.
