New Day Blend

I'm a dedicated dark roast coffee drinker, and I'm always prepared to dislike a dark roast that makes a weak kcup. And I half expected that because the Neighborhood Social flavors are very inexpensive on Amazon. I suspected that meant they kept costs low by using fewer beans or coffee with bad origin. So, the good news is that it's a very acceptable coffee - neither weak or unpleasant in taste. As bold as Major Dickason's? No. But at half the price in a world where budgets matter? This definitely serves a market and I'm happy to include it in my morning rotation. As my headline implies, 4-star flavor at a price that makes it doable for folks who like/need a bargain is worth 5 stars! For a reference point, my morning rotation is : - Green Mountain Dark Magic - Peet's Major Dickason's Blend - Laughing Man Columbia Huila - Neighborhood Social Bold Dark Roast No matter what else you do, PLEASE always review coffee that you try on Amazon. It's super-helpful to other coffee lovers!

Thought I would try a different coffee brand, as my "goto" choice has been S.F.bay Coffee's. But they keep getting higher in price every couple of months. Just no longer worth it. With some research I Found Neighborhood Social, Easy Morning Blend Medium Dark Roast Gourmet Coffee and decided to give it try. WOW !! Great Flavor, Great price per count. And two day shipping too. WOW !! I Love it. You now have a dedicated customer. And a happy one with your price point per cup. I will miss the biodegradable pods we've been using, as they fit into a modification ring I made for my kuerig 2, giving me the extended delivery options for a larger cup when required. Your cups/pods work only if I pre punch the drain hole prior to loading one. I'll look a little deeper in your website for a good Decaf blend, which my lovely mate requests. We received our first order of the morning blend, medium dark roast, just yesterday. And after my first couple of 14oz. cups, I thought, "wipe that satisfied smile off your face and write this review to say THANK YOU". I've passed on your URL to many of my retired friends, neighbors and relatives. As I consume my coffee nearly all day, every day. I'm thankful, and blessed we're acquainted now.

I like this better than Target brands (the market pantry and the organic archer farms one). But I don’t love it as much as some name brand ones like Newman’s own or definitely not as good as Starbucks almost any flavor from them. It’s similar to coffee pods you might buy at ALDI- meaning it’s a good cheap pod for around the house everyday drinking but doesn’t feel like an indulgent treat the way an expensive one would. It’s like a weak breakfast blend that’s sufficient to add cream and sugar free caramel syrup to, as I like to do, but it’s not the worlds best cup of coffee. It’s not as good as anything from a Nespresso. It’s just a quick sort of I want a cheap cup (or three) kicking it around the house. I probably wouldn’t want to serve it to company, but it’s fine for myself. I’d feel fine making 2 pods and making my own ice coffee with this stuff as it’s pretty light and good for that. The best part about this is the price. It’s a whole lot cheaper than Starbucks or Newman’s Own pods, so for that reason and that reason alone I’d probably buy it again off the internet next time I’m out. My husband is drinking his black and his opinion is similar to mine as he said “it’s okay, meh”. He went back for a second cup so it’s “not that bad”. I’d recommend this if you are a cheapskate like myself. If you have unlimited funds just buy some more expensive coffee.

I don't know why there are so many negative reviews... This is great coffee. Smooth, flavorful, no bitterness. It really is a warm welcome. I've been buying the Neighborhood Social Easy morning blend for months now, and thought, what the heck, I'll buy a box of the Warm Welcome blend and give it a try despite the negative reviews. I'm drinking my first cup right now. It's not a dark roast. It says right on it, light roast! It is mellow, but not in anyway flavorless. And remember people, the lighter the roast, the higher the caffeine content. It's a nice, smooth, flavorful cup of coffee. Truly good to the last drop! You can see in the picture that it's not weak coffee. I use minimal creamer, you can see that in the picture that it's not weak. I don't have a Keurig 2.0 I just have your basic. I chose the largest cup setting. It's lovely coffee. Go ahead and buy it. I'm a coffee snob and I love it as much as the easy morning!

This coffee isn't awful. The flavor is fine and the price is right. However, the Medium-Dark is closer to a Medium-Light and the Medium is pretty light in the roast. I would probably put this near the tops of other coffees that are in the same price range. I would probably order again and think it would make a good office coffee K-cup if you are trying to save money. Edit: With the Medium Dark, I have gotten a couple of K-Cups out of the box where the coffee just comes out tasting foul and has to be thrown away. I haven't had that issue with the Medium roast, just on the Medium Dark. I have a filter on my Keurig and it isn't on every cup, so the water isn't the issue. I have lowered my rating down a star due to this issue.
