Universal Rapid Intellicharger for Vertex Standard VX-450 VX-451 VX-454 VX-459 Radio

This did not work for the model it was supposed to wouldn’t recommend to anyone and still haven’t got my money back from sender

I just received this charger and it works great, IF you have a FNB-V113 battery in your Vertex Standard VX451 radio. I was buying this charger to recharge another battery that I have in my system, a FNB-V134-UNI, the newer universal battery for Vertex VX451 and others. That's why I knocked off one star on this review since there was not enough information in the listing to tell me what I found out after it arrived. Conveniently, Empire included a User's Manual with this Universal Rapid Intellicharger that tells me exactly what part I'm missing. Since there are a gazillion different batteries for these style radio--and manufacturers are changing them regularly, for their own reasons, here's the replacement "CUP" that will fit into this charger system to use with the V134LI-UNI batteries: EUC-74. If you buy your new universal charger with that "cup" then you will be all set to recharge your V134LI-UNI batteries. It's worth noting Empire also offers many different "cups" to fit inside this same charger to fit many different battery systems. Each cup is held into the charger with a small screw to insure solid electrical connection. It's way cheaper to buy these other cups than a whole charger system for each different style battery. Good plan, I like it.
