The bottle comes with a second cap for easier application and as someone who is sensitive to fragrances I was very happy that it had almost no smell.The consistency of the oil is quite thick and sticky similar to honey but is also super moisturizing. I personally applied a thin layer to my skin and felt that it was much smoother the next day. My girlfriend applied it to her dry hair about an hour before showering and washed it out. I will say that if you have long hair and apply a thick coat, it will take about 2-3 washes for all the oil to completely come out. Her hair that was previously breaking and had numerous split ends felt soft and smooth just a few days later.
