Birkenstock Womens Shoes Deluxe Shoe Care Kit

Bought for Arizona sandals, suede footbed. The cleaner is okay, the brush is honestly awesome and worth the whole purchase (I haven’t yet tried the waterproofing spray or the cork sealer). My footbeds feel so soft and fresh and much of the grimy staining is gone. Hooray!

It’s alright does the job

I’ve tried multiple shoe care kits over the years, but this Birkenstock Deluxe Shoe Care Kit truly stands out. Waterproof/resistance: I got this entire kit primarily to help lock in the color on my Birks so that they'd stop staining the top/sides of my feet. The water resistance spray seems to have done nothing at all as, more than 2 days after treating all sides of the suede straps and letting it fully dry, my feet get stained teal as much, if not more, than before applying the spray. The Cork Sealer, after drying, remained very tacky/sticky for several more days. Keep that in mind if wearing them around pet hair, dirt, etc. in the days following application. I see this same kit sold by a lot of stores, so I guess it's an official Birkenstock product, but it feels cheap and, as mentioned, the results have been a waste of money. Giving it 2 stars in the hope that the cleaner and brush will actually help, when I eventually need to use those...but I am concerned that those elements will either not help or somehow make my sandal situation worse.

Warning: gross, blood mentioned I did a seriously stupid thing. I went to have ingrown toenail surgery on both sides of one of my toes. I wore my brand new Birkenstocks. I’ve had the surgery before and don’t remember bleeding so much. By the time I drove home from the doctor my toe and shoe were saturated in blood. The footbed was soaking wet. I first used Dawn dishwashing soap and water to get it off. It looked better but was very stained. I looked on Amazon and decided to purchase this. It worked great. I used the cleaning spray along with both sides of the brush. The footbed looks wonderful, not 100% perfect but so much better. The footbed still feels soft too. I have not used the other products yet. The only downside is there could be some better instructions. I watched some videos online that helped. Really glad I purchased this.

Decided to get this to give my Birkenstocks a little "service" and I must say they looked fantastic afterwards. If you're interested in treating your footwear as an investment rather than an expenditure or consumable then this is the perfect set or gift.

Very happy with this selection … all easy to use and ready when the need arises either for maintenance or an emergency clean up job
