do regular scissors cut through this material? or what did you use?

Yes, this may be cut very easily with a pair of regular scissors or with a box blade, if you prefer.

What would be a rough estimate on size of hole, 1/8” square or ¼” square. I don’t know what 18 x 16 is? Is it small like screening on my windows? I

18 x 16 means ..the number of holes per inch. So...much smaller than 1/8 inch. Actually 1/16" x 1/18".

Will this screen work to keep fruit flies out? are the holes regular size of screen doors?

The holes are small enough to keep the fruit flies out. This product is definitely worth the purchase.

What is the visibility like with this screen?

Very good visibility. These are not black out screens. Liken to what a builder would put on new construction. I hope this proves helpful.
