Set of 5 Brain Tuning Forks - Includes 5 Tuning Forks, Pamphlet, & Velvet Bag/Developed Based on Brain Wave Studies

I have this set but I did not buy it from Amazon. This is in reply to the one other review left at this time from someone who does not understand how to use them. The Alpha, Beta, Theta, and Delta frequencies are inaudible. Therefore, these forks employ what is known as 'binaural beats' where you hold the fork marked 'Fundamental' at one ear and the desired frequency at the other ear. The body registers the DIFFERENCE BETWEEN the two forks, which is the low, inaudible frequency on its own. A Gamma fork is also available to add to this set and I highly recommend it. Again, you have to use these in combination with the Fundamental fork at the opposite ear!

The tuning forks have a nice and very steady, sound, but they don’t match the alpha beta delta theta. For example, alpha frequency should be something like 8 to 12 Hz but this is coming in at 533 Hz.. My beta is coming in at 538 Hz. And let me go ahead and say this is with an Analyzer app that has been pretty close. Delta should be less than 4 Hz and is coming in at 518 Hz. theta should be 4 - 8 Hz, and it’s coming in at 524 Hz. The one labeled fundamental is coming in at 513 Hz. So I know there’s some multiple that can make it and you combined it with other frequencies but I’m not that up-to-date on all this. I just wanted the alpha beta, etc. frequencies because my husband has brain injury.
