Nice, natural way to add back minerals
Should have ordered a larger back but this did manage to cover all my fruit trees as well as some potted plants. While it's too early to determine the impact on the fruit trees, the potted plants immediately put out new growth. Living in Florida we have hard water, a lot of rain and a constant de-mineralization taking place for trace nutrients. I like this natural approach and intend to use regularly. For those that may have respiratory or lung conditions, note that this is a very light, fine powder that becomes airborne with ease. Although natural, we still use a face mask when applying to plants to avoid irritation to mucus membranes and/or lung tissue.

AZomite Rock Dust Volcanic Ash Trace Minerals.
Azomite rock dust is made of volcanic ash which contains minerals in a very minute form. There is a misunderstanding, I believe, that this rock dust is or is not a fertilizer of plants. Obviously, without soil mechanisms it's just powedery rock. It is a soil amendment, to improve soil microbiota which actually do process the rock dust into minerals forms that can be used by plants. Many trace minerals that either were not in one's local soil, or it was scraped away ,and so forth, are made available by the microbiota because the rock dust has the "primoridial" forms that microbes eat. I decided to try it, as where I live there are basically 3 kinds of untreated soil, decomposed granite, caliche clay and a kind of gray hard soil under the brush clearance. I want to improve the soil here, not just grow herbs and veggies. To me, the magic of gardening is getting a poor, mistreated soil some long lasting nutrients, and getting it to pop with plants. I will order more Azomite in the future. Edited. A very important distinction is that soiless potting soils have no minerals as found in soil. I made up a potting material with coconut coir, compost, perlite and worm castings. When I added the Azomite, it instantly smelled as goog as soil after rain, the minerals. That did it for me. The finely powdered rock blended into the moist media and was "soil". I have plenty of native soil, but it is wild, hungry, water resistant, wrong pH, full of weeds and hard as concrete when it dries out in our new summers of 100Fplus degrees. It would take too much work and water to "improve" in order to grow vegetables in it. So, I'll be buying Azomite again. I get this small bag because it is perfect for the amount of potting medium I can easily blend with my arms.

Soil health.
Looks like it’s good quality no chunks or dark spots. All we have to do is try it in some soil for my plants. It does come with a label that tells you how much to mix in depending on your project. Very easy to use.

The “Sprinkle a Little Earth Magic” Secret for Plants That Actually Thrive
Let’s get something straight—if you’re relying only on NPK, you're giving your plants fast food, not nutrition. Azomite brings back the trace minerals that most soils have been stripped of after years of overfarming, chlorinated watering, and chemical salt abuse. This stuff is loaded with over 70 trace minerals—we’re talking rare earth elements, calcium, magnesium, silica, iron, zinc… the whole spectrum. And plants LOVE it. You’ll see deeper greens, stronger stems, better yields, and healthier root systems. I even started using it in mycorrhizal tea brews for a nutrient-dense root drench. How I’ve Used It: Top dress in raised beds and container plants—worked beautifully with tomatoes and peppers Mixed into worm bins and compost piles to boost microbial health Foliar feeding (ultra diluted) for micro-dosing trace elements Soil building for my daughter’s little garden boxes—we made it part of our seasonal recharge mix What I Like: Certified dealer product = consistent granule size, no mystery fillers Finely powdered so it integrates into soil easily, no clumping Long-lasting—you’re not feeding weekly, you’re building a mineral base Plants show visible improvement within 1–2 weeks in healthy systems What Could Be Better: Comes in a basic bag, so consider transferring to a sealed container if humidity is high Don’t overdo it—this isn’t Miracle-Gro, it’s more “slow burn nutrition” than instant fix Mask up if you’re working with it dry—it’s dusty (volcanic ash, go figure)

Great for Container Gardens
I container garden since my backyard is completely cement. This is my third year attempting a container garden, and I hit it right on this year!!! I learned as much as I could about fertilizer this year, as my previous 2 years resulted in stunted growth, limited produce, and bug infestations. I started my seeds inside about 6 weeks early in a mix of peat, perlite, and biotone. I had been using 5 gallon buckets for all my big plants in the past, but this year I invested in 5 - 15 gallon fabric pots and 5 - 10 gallon fabric pots. I kept my 5 gallon buckets for basil, kale, a cucumber, and a fingerling potato I threw in from my compost bucket. I put 3 tomatoes, 2 eggplants, and various peppers in the fabric pots (one per pot). The Happy Frog seemed like the fertilizer analysis I needed to start these so I mixed this into my dirt. To make my dirt, I mixed about 1/4 old dirt from last year, peat, perlite, vermiculite, Dr. Earth compost, cow manure, and worm castings. Along with the Happy Frog Tomato and Veg, I added: Crab Meal (Neptune's Harvest) Bone Meal Azomite Epsom Salt Blood Meal (not much) BioTone (in the hole at planting) Garden Lime And that's it! My plants look AMAZING!! I am the envy of all my neighbors!!! I have been side dressing with Jobe's Tomato and Vegetable granular (I like the lower nitrogen), Neptune's Harvest Fish & Seaweed, and Dr. Earth Bud & Bloom Liquid (only use this last one on flowering veggies) and epsom salt (they need that magnesium and sulfur to absorb the calcium in the bone meal and crab meal). We have had the cloudiest and rainiest spring in years here in the Northeast (Pittsburgh, PA) but my tomatoes have already outgrown their cages. I'm trying to figure out what to do when the sun comes back! So glad I only grew 3 tomato plants this year!!! They are covered in baby green tomatoes, just waiting for the sun to ripen!!!

Feeling dynamite!
Wonderful Stuff! I just bought this item as a supplement & started using it 2 days ago. Mixing it with purified water. Can't say much for the taste but it is highly effective. It makes one have 1 big BM a day, and a reduction of weight, 3 pounds in 1 day. Also, I had severe back pain & my right side felt pain up the entire side of my thigh. In 2 days, all the pain is 97% gone. Dr. Joel Walsh, nutrition expert, says that all weight gain is caused from a daily malnutrition mineral deficiency. This stuff rocks. I bought mine from CBS EXPRESS, on Amazon. I am using it 2x daily now & am not going to stop using this ever. I took 2 tsp a day, total. 1 at 9am & 1 at 9pm. I Hydrate with water.
