I enjoyed the spongy feel on my feet and protection for my back.Any negatives?The cushioning may effect your balance ever so slightly if I had to be picky. I’m not doing yoga so this doesn’t effect me. But I wouldn’t say it would impact it by much.I also have concerns about the aesthetics of this mat after a period of time. It does exactly what it says it does, it’s thick, it makes exercise comfortable on your knees, spine, whatever.
